Hmm, tried to post a reply just now, including a graphic, but the image was not showing up, so I backed out. Not sure why that happened.

    Hey Billyjoe!

    Hey, Billyjoe,

I saw the Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi band play last night.

What can I tell ya? The boy's good.

Thanks for telling me about him.

    River,

No, I was not familiar with Rabbie Burns. I guess I must have heard of him before, but I certainly can't remember. Thanks for sharing that wee bit o' prose, though.

    The Great Robbie Burns

Rob, as you are probably aware, today is Robbie Burns' birthday. Did you mark it? I did. And so, I quote from "To A Mouse:"

"...But, Mousie, thou art no thy lane,
In proving foresight may be vain:
The best laid schemes o'mice an' men
    Gang aft a-gley,
An' lea'e us nought but grief an' pain,
    For promis'd joy.

Still thou art blest compar'd wi' me!
    The present only toucheth thee:
But, och! I backward cast my e'e
    On prospects drear!
An' forward, tho' I canna see,
    I guess an' fear!"

God bless Robbie Burns. And Happy Birthday to him.

That was the trick, O huge one! Funny, for the six-plus years I've been on this board, I've never had to adjust the display options. But when I checked it today, it was set to only display the last two months' posts. I don't think it was that way previously, and I've never changed those settings. Weird. Oh well. Thanks, Ernie!

Hey, uphill racer, your situation sounds even weirder. Hope you get that one worked out, but I haven't a clue about it.

Am I the only one who is having this problem? Anybody elese?
i have been having a running problem with my posts. I post something and then it doesnt show up on the new posts until a day later. people reply to my posts and when i click on the post it doesnt show up. i've spoken to karel and ernie about it but we cannot seem to get the problem solved. i don't know whether the problem lies with the site or with my computer. anyone else sharing this type of problem with their posts or the site in general.
