I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Register for free and you'll be able to post messages on this forum and also receive emails when $$$ MR. MARKET $$$ makes his own trades. ($$$MR. MARKET$$$ is a proprietary investor and does not provide individual financial advice. The stocks mentioned on this forum do not represent individual buy or sell recommendations and should not be viewed as such. Individual investors should consider speaking with a professional investment adviser before making any investment decisions.)

Women do hold that "Mystical" power over men and perhaps this is best illustrated by the volume "My Life and Loves " Frank Harris.......an excellent read that both River and Ski should buy and read , I don't mention Microchips because he probably has every volume in that night stand next to his bed LOL . Yes that memorable line , "A Stiff Pri** hath no conscience" shall live in infamy. Here is the Amazon Link to the volume.
Too heavy reading for me Pete i prefer something like Hustler or Playboy even sink to the depths of 101 Dalmations and they all come in handy (pardon the nearly pun). to soak up the tea which dribbles down the sides of my mug; i thought my ears were burning whilst been on the naughty step ( pub realy) washing away the taste of "LOUSY" food with cold lager and double Vodka and fresh orange chasers; this Neanderthal behaviour has taken place every Friday night for 35yrs it is inshrined into local history that we Neanderthalls go out and get absolutly wrecked whilst leering and chasing the local wenches! followed by a chillie sauce filled Kebab. We do not abuse our other halves either and go quietly(ish) to bed; this is where the wives are not stupid they wait till morning then proceed to tell you what a waste of space we are and should grow up in that high pitched shrieking they have spent years perfecting!! in my absolutly worthless opinion women are not stupid they are just missing one basic factor and that is COMMONSENSE!! your comments and observations on a postcard please to ...........
Micro,
What we really want to hear about are the stories of depraved British rockers you've come in contact with and live near by. Or have they all moved over here?

......Billy,
.............Back in the good old rock n roll days along with the heavy rock boys and bands the good old Government decided to tax them all out of existence along with the crap weather (raining again now) so they all packed their bag and landed on your shores. The Stones are probably the best rock band of all time and they used to make some pretty good peak viewing headlines anything from drug busts to smashing up hotels etc..As for where i live we do get to see some pretty good bands and as for debauchery and rum goings on that only seems to happen on a Friday night in the local park!!
Our local celebrity at the moment is " The Crossbow Cannibal" and a past one is " Peter Sutcliffe" known as the Yorkshire Ripper after that for more mundane
things Bingley has to offer you can always trek to the 5 Rise Locks..yawn.( try googling them 3) oh forgot to mention i once met up with John Verity and had a few beers with him and his wife.

Frank Harris? Frank Harris? Who’s that again? But after some searching on the internet I am very much obliged for the mentioning of his name because of this brilliant little piece by Alec Waugh: The Woman Who Knew Frank Harris. It is in one of a series of blog posts on the subject of Frank Harris. It suffers a bit from having been scanned in, but it is worth the read.
No nursing home for us. We are checking into the Holiday Inn! With the average cost for a nursing home care costing $188.00 per day, there is a better way when we get old & feeble. We have already checked on reservations at the Holiday Inn. For a combined long term stay discount and senior discount, it's $49.23 per night. That leaves $138.77 a day for: Breakfast, lunch and dinner in any restaurant we want, or room service, laundry, gratuities and special TV movies. Plus, they provide a swimming pool, a workout room, a lounge and washer-dryer, etc. Most have free toothpaste and razors, and all have free shampoo and soap.
$5 worth of tips a day will have the entire staff scrambling to help you. They treat you like a customer, not a patient. There is a city bus stop out front, and seniors ride free. The handicap bus will also pick you up (if you fake a decent limp).
To meet other nice people, call a church bus on Sundays.
For a change of scenery, take the airport shuttle bus and eat at one of the nice restaurants there.
While you're at the airport, fly somewhere. Otherwise, the cash keeps building up.
It takes months to get into decent nursing homes. Holiday Inn will take your reservation today. And you are not stuck in one place forever, you can move from Inn to Inn, or even from city to city. Want to see Hawaii ? They have a Holiday Inn there too. TV broken? Light bulbs need changing? Need a mattress replaced? No problem. They fix everything, and apologize for the inconvenience.
The Inn has a night security person and daily room service. The maid checks to see if you are ok. If not, they will call the undertaker or an ambulance. If you fall and break a hip, Medicare will pay for the hip, and Holiday Inn will upgrade you to a suite for the rest of your life.
And no worries about visits from family. They will always be glad to find you, and probably check in for a few days mini-vacation.
The grand kids can use the pool.
What more can you ask for?
So, when we reach that golden age, we'll face it with a grin. Just forward our mail to:

" If any of you have ever been to a military funeral in which taps was played; this brings out a new meaning of it.
Here is something Every American should know. Until I read this, I didn't know, but I checked it out and it's true:
We in the United States have all heard the haunting song, 'Taps...' It's the song that gives us the lump in our throats and usually tears in our eyes.
But, do you know the story behind the song? If not, I think you will be interested to find out about its humble beginnings.
Reportedly, it all began in 1862 during the Civil War, when Union Army Captain Robert Elli was with his men near Harrison's Landing in Virginia . The Confederate Army was on the other side of the narrow strip of land.
During the night, Captain Elli heard the moans of a soldier who lay severely wounded on the field. Not knowing if it was a Union or Confederate soldier, the Captain decided to risk his life and bring the stricken man back for medical attention. Crawling on his stomach through the gunfire, the Captain reached the stricken soldier and began pulling him toward his encampment..
When the Captain finally reached his own lines, he discovered it was actually a Confederate soldier, but the soldier was dead.
The Captain lit a lantern and suddenly caught his breath and went numb with shock. In the dim light, he saw the face of the soldier. It was his own son. The boy had been studying music in the South when the war broke out.. Without telling his father, the boy enlisted in the Confederate Army.
The following morning, heartbroken, the father asked permission of his superiors to give his son a full military burial, despite his enemy status. His request was only partially granted.
The Captain had asked if he could have a group of Army band members play a funeral dirge for his son at the funeral.
The request was turned down since the soldier was a Confederate.
But, out of respect for the father, they did say they could give him only one musician.
The Captain chose a bugler. He asked the bugler to play a series of musical notes he had found on a piece of paper in the pocket of the dead youth's uniform.
This wish was granted.
The haunting melody, we now know as 'Taps' used at military funerals was born.
The words are:
Day is done.
Gone the sun.
From the lakes
From the hills.
From the sky.
All is well..
Safely rest.
God is nigh.
Fading light.
Dims the sight.
And a star.
Gems the sky.
Gleaming bright.
From afar.
Drawing nigh.
Falls the night.
Thanks and praise.
For our days.
Neath the sun
Neath the stars.
Neath the sky
As we go..
This we know.
God is nigh
I too have felt the chills while listening to 'Taps' but I have never seen all the words to the song until now. I didn't even know there was more than one verse . I also never knew the story behind the song and I didn't know if you had either so I thought I'd pass it along.
I now have an even deeper respect for the song than I did before.
Remember Those Lost and Harmed While Serving Their Country. "
Also Remember Those Who Have Served And Returned; and for those presently serving in the Armed Forces.
Please send this on after a short prayer.
Make this a Prayer wheel for our soldiers .. please don't break it
I didn't!

A good friend of mine , who is a history buff says that the TAPS story is FALSE! Here is his response, "I've heard this one before, and it's bogus. There's no proof that this Capt. even exsisted. Taps was probably written by Union Gen. Dan Butterfield."
Why would someone waste his time concocting false stories? Another friend of mine said a telltale sign of a false story always seems to ask the recipient to , "Pass It On" This perhaps puts you on a SPAM list? Thst could be the reason for the false information.
River look around at the MALLS, can you imagine one of the 270 LB ladies with that much beef on the hoof precariously scootin' over to Pop Eyes or Cinnabuns. That would definitely give new meaning to the words., "Rolling Thunder" LOL!
