Once again my source was right saying less than 150,000 jobs would be created. He was right on the previous report when he said less than 100,000 jobs would be created. Nothing like good information to help in the decision making process.

Technically, you're right, but I'm not counting dog walkers as jobs... that's more of a hobby

I didn't post it beforehand because you, Dave and some others said such information plus others I had to contribute was worthless. I am laughing all the way to the bank.

Please explain how the employment numbers will make you laugh all the way to the bank. I can do that everyday or as many times as I want by just lighting up and taking a few puffs. You never give us anything that we couldn't get from any number of websites that report those numbers. Give us in advance what sectors, groups, and stocks within those groups are going to be strengthening. Give us how the markets are going to trend or reverse trend or anything concrete that will provide some decent setups. Like Carlye Simon says, "you're so vague, I bet you think that everyone is watching you"

What is your problem? I posted before the May jobs report that it would be less than 100,000. I also posted when the report came out to sell on the opening. I also posted that the Dow would rally 300 points before July 4th.
The only post that was wrong was that the Fed would raise the Funds Rate by 1/2 and pause. It raised 1/4 but the Dow jumped over 200 pts. because the Fed indicated it might pause in August. The problem with you and others
like you on this board is that you need a course in remedial reading and civility.

No I had no problem reading what you posted an no one was bad-mouthed or called a bad name. There was nothing uncivil about the post except it's content. The same old story. You give information that is common and can be gotten from any number of websites. I could care less about the employment numbers or if the Fed is going to raise or lower rates. I don't need to know the outcome of those events beforehand. What I would like is something concrete. Something having to do with real stocks selections or setups. Anything having to do with sectors, groups within specific sectors, ETF's regarding those sectors, or stocks in strengthening sectors or groups. Anything except these predictions. They don't do a thing for me. You're looking for some kind of praise or acclamation of how close to being exact your prediction was of the rate increase. Tell me what am I going to do with that information. How does the unemployment or employment number prediction help me to know that in advance. My problem, if any, is that I HATE people that are posting this kind of dribble here in expectation of everyone stating how great they did. Give me a couple of setups that breakout bigtime or anything that even closely resembles some type of real technical analysis then maybe I would say thanks alot for the info Homer. You haven't given anything of the kind in any of your posts to date. That is my problem if I had one. My comments could be alot worse but I do work at being civil under these types of circumstances.

I know of a man who says it will be on the Korean peninsula and given recent events that may be possible. I know that 8/6 is fast approaching, the anniversary of Hiroshima, that could be the date. When this happens, the price of precious metals and other materials will shift into a whole new gear. The secret to successful materials investing is not in what you buy, but in who you buy. I got into a stock that is run by Rob McEwen, who turned a 50 mil. dollar investment firm into the 10 billion dollar GoldCorp, and he left there recently to get involved with a tiny gold company. The shares have skyrocketed since he got involved, and I got in at 6.04 and sold at 9.90. I think the shares are now in the 8 dollar range. The company I am in now has the former chief geophysicist of Devon 2002-2005. I think the key to success is to pay attention when industry leaders leave giant companies for much smaller ones. I have been kind of lucky I guess you would say, I stumbled across the gold company by accident one day, and the company I am in now I got a solicitation in the mail. I know that I should not buy into those kinds of things, but I checked it out and as oil sand company and good management, I think it has real potential and I have made 17% already in the past weeks. I also bought El Paso just before they put out earnings and made money on that as well. There are some people who recommend cashing out of the bank and going into gold bullion before the economy crashes, and although it sounds extreme, I agree that it would be a good idea to have at least some gold coins handy to trade for food and necessities. Have a good day.
I'm stocking up on guns and ammo myself although I do physically own gold coins an a whole lot of silver bullion in 10 oz. bars. I've been using them as door stops. Almost tripled in value over the past 1 1/2 years. Guns an ammo. You can never have enough of that nowadays.
