Friendship and commaraderie? Give me A break ! You are delusional if you think there is any semblance of courtesy in any of the sarcastic posts that you along with Dave, TATNIC, Doug, Lyehopper and Rob have riduculed me.
I know Steckler and TATNIC from the AOL board and they are both reprehensible and disgusting human beings. You deserve them. That said, the only gentleman here is clearly Mr. Market. What he is doing here boggles the mind.
Homer...I am never gonna say I'm the best trader/investor here...I am never gonna say I'm the nicest person here...I am never gonna say I'm the Best lookin' member here...Well, maybe I am the Best lookin'...But I'll tell 'ya one thing...I'm better than you in all of life's major categories....

Now, just to make sure that everyone sees how deceitful you are...I would like to present a post of your's that I just copied (Before you thought of deleting it)

Seems like that post was in direct conflict with the post you just made about Mr. M???

There's only one thing I don't like about Ernie...He is too slow to pull the trigger on deleting the likes of bigots like you...Doug(IIC)

I was talking with my friend George S. last night and told him about this board. Said he should check it out. No one has ever taken a loss. The number one guru has had 81 consecutive trades all profitable by at least 15% or more. "You are putting me on" said George. "Even with all the billions I have made, I sometimes had to take a loss." No kidding George. This board is a wonder --- nothing but market mavens on this board. You just gotta check it out. Maybe you could improve your record. Get off the floor George and stop laughing so hard. You are going to hurt yourself.

The really great presidents were: Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, FDR and Truman. Reagan was average. Apparently you are not a student of history.

Apparently you are an idiot...Let's take your Beloved Jefferson...Here are a few quotes:

I never will, by any word or act, bow to the shrine of intolerance or admit a right of inquiry into the religious opinions of others...Obviously you don't agree w/ that statement.

He who knows nothing is closer to the truth than he whose mind is filled with falsehoods and errors....I have not figured out which one you are yet

I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them...Sort of a conflict with the ideas of your beloved FDR.

The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not....Another conflicting idea for you and FDR.

Obviously, I only posted selected quotes...Because I personally think Jefferson was a crappy guy...Just ask his ancestors...But since you seem to like him I thought I'd enlighten you a bit.

This Looooong drawn out thread.... All because of the above simple post? WHY?

You have to give Homer credit. He has tremendous power over certain members here. They could simply ignore his posts (and threads) and he'd go away.... But his allure is too great. They cannot resist engaging him.... And as they get angry "ol Homer" is basking in the satisfaction that he stands alone in his fight.... And like a puppet master he directs experienced traders and Sr. members here into wasting precious time as they feel compelled to answer his drivel..... Time.... and time.... again....

So the author of the Declaration of Independence is a crappy guy. Jefferson is regarded by virtually every historian as one of our greatest presidents. If anyone on this board agrees with you about Jefferson being a crappy guy, let him speak his mind as it will reinforce my opinion of the mindset of those who post here.

"A society that will trade a little liberty for a little order will lose both and deserve neither." - Thomas Jefferson

Obviously he never went to the airport

Anyway...you can make judgements based on the whitewashed textbooks you had in school if you want...But I prefer to dig a little deeper.

When I made that statement I was referring mostly to his personal life...He had 140 slaves yet he claimed to be anti-slave trade...He promised to give his slaves freedom...Funny how he wouldn't do it till he died...Sounds a little selfish to me.

Contemporary debates continue to rage -- as they did during Jefferson's own lifetime -- concerning his relationship with Sally Hemings, one of Jefferson's slaves, after Martha's death. Recent DNA evidence presents a convincing case that Jefferson was indeed the biological father of Heming's children, and most historians now believe that Jefferson and Hemings had a long-term sexual relationship. Jefferson was ambivalent about slavery throughout his career. As a young politician, he argued for the prohibition of slavery in new American territories, yet he never freed his own slaves. How could a man responsible for writing the sacred words "We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal" have been a slave owner? He never resolved his internal conflict on this issue.

But lets hear about his 5 slave children...one that died in infancy..???

At a 1962 dinner for 49 Nobel laureates, President John F. Kennedy quipped that the event was "the most extraordinary collection of talent, of human knowledge, that has ever gathered at the White House, with the possible exception of when Thomas Jefferson dined alone."

As for his slave holdings and Sally Hennings, Jefferson was loved by all his slaves. The affair with Hennings was one of convenience but by no means could it ever be considered rape. Jefferson would have liked to free his slaves but he was so much in debt he couldn't afford to free them. He just couldn't resist loading up on fine wines and books. He was a cultured man of the highest integrity. I suggest you visit the University of Virginia which will enlighten you on our government's Jeffersonian Democracy.

Well...we could probably debate this till the end of time...But I never said he raped anyone. Yes...I've heard about his notorious wine bills...IMO being in debt is a pretty poor reason...I'm not saying Jefferson did nothing good for the country...But he was one of the most famous hypocrites of all time.
