Sorry, your right I am being a complete parasite here, mainly because I wanted information, but you right, having links in my signature is spamming, so I‘ve taken them off. My main motive is to find out info on peoples attitude towards this technique, so I can talk a bit about it on a forum and hopefully it will be thesis fodder. -gosh im getting grilled in here

Anyway I have no "pure" good motives, but I may take you up on this offer in a few months don’t laugh at me if I fail miserably, I’m still in early phases of Neural net training and don’t expect it to work at first.

Would you happen to have a link to any sort of rules for this technique?
do many people use it?

Some good example that I’ve come across so far (not to say any are accurate)

20/50 day moving averages buy and sell when the averages cross.
Top-bottom-top patterns at troughs and peaks
Time system analyse
Quantitative momentum modelling (Mr Markets)
and quite a few others, but I’m still doing my home work.

My absence has served a very important function. Look for significant changes in the VTP in the near future. The stock market is in the intitial phases of a major paradigm shift. The market as we know it is changing before our very eyes...so must the VTP change. The Vulcans must take a step back and seperate themselves from the masses to understand the importance of it all.

Ah, doesn’t quite have the same meaning to me. PhD in physical biological chemistry.

as well as studying AI ANN systems (no insemination unfortunately) and will continue a post doc in this area.

Seriously this Vulcan approach is exactly what I’m looking for. All too often people have systems and then they muck it all up by having emotions, and not doing what there system tells them. How am I supposed to model that!
