It is a fact that the alloy of the mild steel used in car bodies in the "70's" and today are the same, the reason that car bodies today don't rust out as badly is not due to a higher iron content in the steel as you have stated (you did say that didn't you?) but because the sheet steel is now galvanized. I admit that I didn't know that till Tatnic posted what he did.... and as I did some research I found that it was indeed the case and he was right on target.... btw, did you read the info I linked?

Why are you so defensive? Are you ever wrong?.... Oh sorry, that was a stupid question....
I said higher free iron, Lye. Do I need to explain this some more?

I will readily admit to the facts when they are presented. And if those facts are not in congruence with what I have expressed, then I will not deny the ignorance in my outburst.

    • Here is my simple logic test. Focus on the red line and look at the 2 directions identified by the simple arrows. Now pull put a chart of the steel group and see what arrow closely resembles the chart.

Long term is looking bullish. I'd be willing to buy it at 50.01.

So short term - you no like?

My junior chartman analysis wonders whether that's a bull flag above the breakout with a bullish engulfing candle that makes it a buy or if it's too stretched out at this point and heading back down. It looks like its got a bearish engulfing candle followed by a bullish engulfing candle. Confusing.

Just wait till it starts the slide and buy it at $30.... Or better yet, short it down to $30 before you buy.

hehe Hey Lye, there's a gap for OS down at $17.01 and another at $22.89!

But frankly, I think the TA suggests we see $60+ before the drop. In particular, note that 3rd chart below...we're in a monthly 5th up.

I think that OS is a target.

Looks like it wants to make a big move in either direction. I would suspect that it is up. But oddly enough, you'd be better off holding this and having the price remain low so that a buyout premium isn't so high that OS is priced out of the acquisition market.

I might be buying more ASVI soon. I am keeping away until Friday when CAT reports their earnings. I think the price will retreat until investors get a better feel after CAT reports. Tomorrow may offer really cheap shares
CAT report was terrible, bad, aweful, ugly, disappointing, sad, depressing, shocking, and maybe a warning. I am not going to buy any ASVI until the action settles down. Maybe if it gets really really cheap or some technical reason triggers a buy for me, but geez, that report sucked!
