I've been hearing this excuse from my colleagues in our SD office, too. Hope it's not too disruptive for you, jiesen.

It's messing with things at work, for sure. Schedules have been shot to hell, and setting manufacturing back by a week could end up costing the company millions in a backorder situation. (We make and sell $400M+ in reagents per year now.) For me it's not that big a deal, since I'll just have an extra day or two to catch up on my reports before it's back to situation normal again.

Worst thing for me right now is my pool, which is completely covered with ash. I'll probably need a new pool filter after this is over. (Pretty much like what happened in the 2003 fires.)
