Heard about an hour ago that 250,000 are being evacuated in San Diego County.
Yesterday I could see the smoke from the Malibu and Canyon Country Fires from my house...Malibu is about 15+ miles from me and Canyon Country is about 30 miles

Well, I thank everyone, good luck to all this week, this knuckle-head is late because today I switched isp's to Verizon FIOS. It took the guy all day to install, now I am in the process of doing the e-mail change thing.
Next week, I'll be early, NYUK, NYUK!!!

Good call on CRNT Doug, I was in and out +11% Though I am still down a bit in IBN. I'm holding PCP through earnings as well as a little VDSI.
Have you checked out Alibaba. it will be available beginning of November. Any thoughts Doug???
Chris
I never heard that Alibaba would IPO in the USA???

CRNT remains #2 on the IIC 100 next week even with the pullback. One suggestion I have thrown out before for growth investors is to check out the stocks that appear on both the IIC 100 and IBD 100.
I will not post them but everyone has access to the IIC 100...If you have access to the IBD 100 you can easily figure out the 33 which are on both lists this week. I put them both in separate folders at Stockcharts and then just run a scan and it tells me which ones are on both lists.
You could also put them in .xls and tell pretty quickly too.
The IIC 100 has 14 stocks under $15 this week... so out of the remaining 86...33 (or 38%) are on both lists...It has been fairly consistent that 30-35 are on both lists recently...However, with earnings season that number may go down quite a bit...At least it has during past earnings seasons...The lowest number on the combo list that I've ever seen is 7.
8:09AM Ceragon beats by $0.01, beats on revs; guides FY07 revs above consensus (CRNT) 16.25 : Reports Q3 (Sep) earnings of $0.13 per share, excluding non-recurring items, $0.01 better than the Reuters Estimates consensus of $0.12; revenues rose 45.9% year/year to $44.5 mln vs the $39.3 mln consensus. Co issues upside guidance for FY07, sees FY07 rev growth of 47-50% yr/yr which equates to roughly $159.4-162.6 mln vs. $151.76 mln consensus

FYI Rule #4 on the First page:
#4 NYSE, NASDAQ, and AMEX listed stocks will be the only possible sources of stocks from which to choose each week's stock. This is a stock picking contest, so avoid choosing ETF's. OTCBB and pink sheet stocks are not allowed.
