Day 3 - show offs...



Not much to say... Lyehopper maintains his lead, and Riverbabe improves her 2nd place position. She might have a hard time getting that John Deere tractor to stay above the wave, but we'll see. Peanuts brings in third place.

Week7, Day 4

Week 7 - Surfing Competition
Day 4 - it's heating up, now

Lyehopper was hearing news that the judges were getting bored with the players attempts to impress them. He swam out to the break and pulled off a great ride on a perfect curler. Cowabunga, dude!


Pete Hansen and his shiny jade-green board rides a perfect wave and shows some steller top moves that impressed the judges.


Riverbabe knew she could keep her board above the wave, and she celebrates in fine style. We think that the judges considered her ride on the wave when they gave her third place, but with that suit, you never know...

If not for my 3% late fee, would be in third. But, I am quite happy to see river in 3rd and celebrating!

Well I don't think I'll have any problem catching Lye tomorrow. All FORG has to do is get to 1.56/1.57 range, maybe less if his pick takes a dump or even a little dump. Close race though, he's only about 16 % ahead of me right now. Could be a big day for FORGing ahead tomorrow. Fundamentally sound stock but not necessarily for the faint of heart. Also reports earnings on March 1, 2007 at 8 am.

I should have stuck to my guns and held LTS. So much for letting it ride. I guess these real speculative stocks scare me a little too much sometimes.

And now my second pick NWD is looking a bit bearish to say the least. I guess I need to lay off the speculative stocks and Chinese noodles.

You'll begin to notice that you always pass the same people on the way down to last place as you met on the way up to first place. It's not quite as easy as it looks to maintain a positive balance or too continously finish in the green each week much less taking 1st place.

Well, it seems my PCCC surfboard sprung a leak early this week. I hope that leak is plugged now and that some bailing will get me back in the green. If that doesn't sound too ambitious.
