There are two ways to approach this problem: the lazy one and the cumbersome one.

In the lazy approach, we assume you are pulling our collective leg, because you know very well that the ground around human habitations usually is so thoroughly trampled, that poor Lilly will not find even one square foot of grass to graze on.

In the cumbersome approach we take this as a mathematical challenge only, and then realize that we don't have the formula for the curiously curved form (at least I don't have it). So here comes an approximation:
t just being in the way, and aiming for a nice round number my estimate becomes 29,000 square feet.

Close enuf...mine is 29,275+/-, which I did on my computer so its pretty close, give or take a few square feet.
I do recall that there is a mathematical equation for a spiral curve which is what you end up with in 2 quads (that overlap), but I cannot recall or find it.

Not you personally failing Douglas but the stinkin stock failing on ya just enough to take you out of the money. Still green though which is always good regardless. Ya just can't trust them stocks.

We have a pretty good system that has been up and running for a few years now. It has evolved into something that is more than adequate for our purposes and needs and so much easier when everything is right here at this site and in front of us. We've become accustomed to it and the only time we do have a small problem is when we change the guardian of the scorekeeping which it looks like we are in the process of doing right now. I can't imagine us changing our entire system and agenda to make it easier for you or someone else like yourself who probably just became a member and just started posting here. I would suggest that you ease into things here and enter the POTW, post a few charts on your current trades or setups, and get to know the terrain before you ask us to take a flyer on some other site that we know nothing about just to appease you.
I would try working my way through it first to get a better idea of how the POTW works. Have you spent any time reading the rules and understanding the game itself? Nice to have you hear. Post a few of your charts and some other worthwhile information regarding stocks and setups. We would all be interested in seeing what you've got to offer in that respect. We'll take care of the POTW, but enter a pick this week for sure.

I'm sure that things will keep going Lou. Why don't you take it on and ease into it doing your own thing. Everyone here will be more than cooperative in supplying you with the "time of sale intraday prices" for any intraday moves by the players. That would be the least of the problems you may encounter in developing your own scoresheet and method. Anything that you need help on will be provided by all of us. All you have to do is ask for something and I'm sure you would get it immediately. Bare those shoulders and "they will come to your aid" I'm sure. Just kidding. Give it a try and ease into it. Now how could you resist that offer.

Well...at least I traded it in the high 14.90's just before the CwH breakout...sold in the hi 15.30's and the 15.80's same day...so it was OK...made over 4%...Now if I could make 4% everyday...

Welcome dalion...In another forum I moderate we used to have a weekly contest that we kept at Motley Fool Portfolios...Everyone had the password and we went in and entered our own picks...We got up to 3 pix but you had to hold them all week...Everyone could go in and see the 20 min delayed standings at any time.

However, it is difficult to get people to actually go in and do it and it seemed like every weekend somebody had trouble logging in. Before that we used Yahoo Portfolios...But I never even figured out how to use it.

The way we have it here is good as the scorekeeper lists all pix everyday...The scorekeepers have done a great job...But it sure seems like a lot of work...Although I've really enjoyed all of the commentaries by all the past scorekeepers, we really don't have to have the commentary if nobody wants to do it...All we really need is the standings.

What would make it easier is if we just got one pick...do or die...for the week...I think it is probably a real pain to go back and get the buy/sell prices everyday someone makes a change...Of course it is great if someone wants to do it...Sure seems time consuming to me though...Best, Doug(IIC)

I thought about it frequently today. I just can't handle it with school. I know other people are busy too. Here's the shoulders plus a little bit more tho.
