"Lucky" Seven for 5/7/10!

Wow yesterday was one hell of a day. Hopefully today we should recover some of the lost ground from yesterday. Was it an trading error, or manipulation of the markets? The Obama administration should definitely look into this one, instead of just bashing the banks and businesses!

5. ERY LONG Direxion Energy BEAR Actually TRIPLE SHORTS the Energy market ....HIGHLY VOLATILE Use a 10% Trailing Stop Loss Dont' buy at open !

7. PPO LONG Batteries for hybrid cars
8. VIT LONG Information Technology
9. WX LONG Chinese Pharma

Stock Futures are down as I write , apparently that Greece Buy Out deal seems to be losing some of its luster! A good portion of the IMF 750 Billion buy out will be funded by .....yep, the US Tax Payer . We do have skin in the game .Some pundits say China inflation could explode and drag all economies down .....others in the US say the markets still have room to run......who knows? Confusion reigns!

1. AEZS LONG A pharma that has been a stellar performer , but set your stops to protect profits , but wait to a pullback buy!
2. BIOF LONG A biofuels play ....HIGHLY SPECULATIVE earnings report due out 5/13/10 AFTER CLOSE!
3. FAS LONG Direxion Triple Financial Bull Play .....not for the timid ....ALWAYS SET A STOP OR PREFERABLY TRAILING STOP LOSS 10% should do it!
4. FSII LONG Tecnology Micro electronics
5. LEG LONG produces a wide range of engineered components , nice chart , also pays a 4.3% dividend
6. LDSH LONG Forged and cast metal parts
7. MTSC LONG Auto parts
8. OMX LONG Office max office supplies
9. PARD LONG Pharma stock
10. PIR LONG Pier One Imports ..seems to be busting out
11. PRGO LONG Over the counter and Rx Drugs
12. VTR LONG A healthcare Real Estate Investment Trust
13. UWM LONG Ultra Russell 2000 ETF ... use a 12% Stop or Trailing stop loss on this one !

Well there ya have it. I checked the 52 week lows and very few stocks are putting in lows ......so I offer no shorts. Good luck God bless....watch the opening and buy when the markets turn up!

Alxa 12 dollars ??

JPM securities puts a 12 Dollar price tag on ALXA ......not bad for this currently $3.55 BioPharma. This baby has some great drugs in the pipeline, and the chart is beautiful...ya may want to give ALXA a second look!

Stock futures managed to get their heads above water as I write , gOLD is down about 10 bucks , but futures were higher in Asia ....and I think all in all today looks ready to go higher!

1. ANV LONG With Gold Down today maybe time to nibble here
2. BTN LONG Theatre Lighting and all those 3D m akeovers for the movie houses
3. JOEZ LONG Taking a beating lately , but Greg Guenthner stiill seems to believe this jean maker still has some starch left!
4. FAS LONG ETF which Triples Performance of the Financials
5. TBT LONG Ultra Shorts US Treasurys The chart seemd to indicate a breaking out performance as individuals leave safe Treasurys to return to the rising markets!
6. TLT SHORT By Buying TLT June 10 $1.37 PUTS! If you are not into options , go with above trade!
7. UXG LONG Gold RISKY Gold miner in the Nevada Cortez Trend. 50 miles away from the 180 Million ounce Carlin Trend . The CEO is Rob McEwen , who headed Goldcorp for 11 years helping those shares to rise 1,450% . Maybe Rob can perform that magic on UXG, which could be bigger than the Carlin trend! Rob owns 21% of UXG shares .....now do ya think if he felt it was just a hole in the ground ?
8. UWM LONG ETF Which doubles performance of Russell 2000!

PBS did a special on Jim Morrison and the Doors yesterday .....wow what a performer. Too bad he overdosed and was found dead in a bathtub in France at the age of 27 , the same age as Janus Joplin , and Jimmy Hendrix were when they died!

Well stock futures are up , Gold is UP and European markets put in a good performance, but Asian markets tanked ........so definitely not all is blue skies ahead. Caution is advised and stops should be set on all stocks. A 10% trailing stop would be a good start!

Congratulations Pete on still being married. That's very cool. Especially when now days, I think I read that 50% of marriages end in the first year. I will have been married to my wife 7 years in July. We met in our SR year in college, so we have actually been together for 13 years. You can never go wrong with the Doors.
