Well Pete, MIPS was good to me. I picked up some Feb $7.50 calls for MHR. Let's see where this goes.

Driving past my local gas station in North Jersey , I noticed gasoline had risen again to $2.79 per gallon , with premium grades all near or over 3 bucks.
The oil exprorting nations have us by the Bal*s !
The solution to those oil extortionists lies right here in the USA. don't believe all that BS about Peak Oil. Science and technology have provided us with the ability to extract oil and gas from places that just several years ago was impossible.
Although rapid strides have been made in alternative energy such as solar, wind geothermal .......the simple fact remains. WE STILL NEED OIL AND GAS!
3 exciting places in the US that have HUGE supplies of Oil and Nat gas are these 3.

1. The Williston Basin in North Dakota, supposedly 4 Billion Plus barrels of oil.
2. The Marcellus Shale in the Appalacian Basin 260 TRILLION cubic feet of natural gas......OH MY LORD like a 200 yr supply!
3. The Eagle Ford Shale of Texas a recent OIL discovery which could be one of the largest in almost half a century!
Wouldn't it be nice to have stock in a company that has the technological expertise to drill in these areas and HAS DRILLING RIGHTS IN ALL OF THEM??

Well Magnum Hunter Resources MHR a $6.09 company on the AMEX is JUST that company.
Now grab the digitalis maude, hang onto your hats MHR EARNINGS for the 3 months ending 9/30/10 INCREASED a HUGE 317% over the same period last year!

The BIG 8 For 11/18/10

WOW Stock, Gold and oil Futures are all UP HUGE this AM. I guess all is well in Ireland. Perhaps the Irish guys took my advice and banged down a few Irish Whiskies, followed by several Guinness and then a few lap dances by some
of the local strumpets.
Oh well.......enough of that nonsense ......and on with the picks.

1. **ANTS LONG After 2 losing days I am beginning to lose patience with this one.....lets see what happens today.
2. **HCKI LONG PLEASE..... Pregnant nuns, women and children step aside for this one ......for SERIOUS GAMBLERS only!
3. LVLT LONG could break out from this point
4. QTM LONG Real slick chart.....breaking out! Should move BIG today!
5. RFMD LONG After a weak performance over the past few days ....coming alive!
6. **TRMAQ LONG Trico Marine
7. URZ LONG Uranium Miner ......Nice Article in the 11/17/10 NY Times describing China's up and coming HUGE demand for Uranium ....This stock along with USU below should become HUGE winners in the years to go . The Republicans should put the Kabash on the Tree Huggers back here in the US who are impeding Nuclear Plant construction.
8. USU LONG Another Uranium Processor selling at 50% Discount to Book value ....I am sure it would pass the Mr Market smell test!

Oh well time to bring out the Louisville Slugger and swing for the fences. Stock futures are modestly up , but who knows what will tanspire over the course of the day.
The Irish still seem to be having financial problems ....my advice to the Iriah guys is to head down to the local pub and bang down a few Irish Whiskeys . I had known a few Irish guys in my time , and I NEVER recalled that having to twist their arm to enter a pub was ever necessary. LOL

2. **ANTS Took a 20% hit yesterday , but the chart still says all signals go.

4. QID LONG Ultra Shorts the QQQ Careful on this one today ...any positive move in the QQQ today will negate yesterday's 3.39% advance
5. ** SWTX LONG Moving on up
6. **TRMAQ LONG Trico marine services
7. UCBI LONG United community bank UCBI has sunk lower than whale dung on the bottom of the ocean ....BUT Appears to be coming back to $$$$
8. USU LONG This company processes URANIUM for nuclear power plants . With Obama screaming for clean energy .....USU fills the bill . I think this $5.31 stock is a bargan now , and is currently selling for HALF its book value .....essentially a 50% discount for you! On Novemeber 2 revenues were announced for Q3 that BEAT Q2 Revenues by 23% I feel that USU has a bright future ahead of it !

Great point both of you guys. You always hear about buying great, strong companies at a discount. I also sold mt GFRE calls last week when we had a big green day in the market. It does seem like that's the way to do it, buy on red days and sell on green days.

FAST 5 For 11/16/10

Stock futures are DOWN , as well as Gold and Oil Futures......Ireland is having debt problems and the news is not looking good. I have started to use some new indicators to improve performance.
Some picks here are HIGHLY SPECULATIVE and given a ** WARNING!

1. ** ANTS LONG High spec 90 Cent Software stock which according to my indicators should show a picture perfect rise!
2. LVLT LONG Level 3 Communications should rise but in a DOWN market this could prove difficult!
3. MHR LONG Oil stock beginning to move
4. QID LONG ULTRA SHORTS THE QQQ but according to my indicators should rise for the next few days
5.**XPRT High spec stock that seems to be breaking out here!

Well stock futures are up slightly , as well as both gold and oil....BUT there are never any guarantees as to how today will play out! I have starred the HIGH RISK picks **.........EXCERCISE CAUTION WITH THESE!
Interesting comment from Greg Hunter , speaking of the US , " No country has ever produced so much money and so much debt in such a short amount of time" Hey if this isn't a Nobel Peace Prize event ...WHAT IS?

Several pundits on the radio have commented that insiders have been selling large amounts of stocks over the past several weeks. Do they know something we do not? NEVER marry any stock and be ready to sell at any moment.
