7 +3 Puts For 7/1/08

Most of the pundits are in their "BAH HUMBUG" mode ......but be POSITIVE ...MONEY can me made..... and we will be making it .....you know it like a poet.....the Portfolio 6/30/-7/3/08 was only UP FOR 1 DAY $965.50 on 50K or 1.93% .Today futures are DOWN BIG and OIL is trending up, but we do have the "Perfect Storm" here!
Common sense says to short financials and go long oils so here are the picks.

1. HK I really like this one
2. SFY
3. ME
4.HAL
5. DMRC Great buy chart
6. BZP
7. TGC

BUY SOHU JULY 75 put UZKSO
BUY AMP JULY 45 PUT AMPSI
BUY MER JULY 32.5 PUT MERSA

These babies should bring in the moolah today . Buy the PUTS early and set tight trailing stops as they trade up ......ALWAYS protect you profits.

Pick for 7/3/08

Wow tough day in the markets ........definitely oversold .......but the Holiday weekend is coming up ......and possible selling into the weekend.

The only stock I see is

1. TGC Energy stock

6/30/- 7/3/08

It was a very short week.....but a painful one .....the portfolio did not do well, perhaps up to 10 days will be needed......I will monitor it until 7/11/08 and report back at that time . Here are the results....oil and energy stocks seemed to have an inverse relationship to the price of oil .....oil went UP and they went DOWN ....go figure.

As you can see there was a 9.88% los for the entire portfolio ....and only ONE stock made it inot the black for the week . Better days are coming , Sunday I will post the NEW portfolio of 10 stocks .....HAVE A HAPPY 4th!

New Portfolio 7/7-7/11/08

Had some time so I decided to post the new portfolio early, I never set stops on the hypothetical porfolio , but I would recommend a max 8% Trailing stop with real money! 5K was placed into each of the 10 stocks in the AOL hypothetical Portfolio. Thursday 7/3/08 close prices were used as "initial" buy prices in the portfolio!

For best results, choose "Landscape" format, using the Print settings.

The futures are trending down and OIL is going for a moonshot. I hope ya bought my TGC pic yesterday ...you would be smiling ear to ear as it was up 13.25% . It is stll a good play ......BUT LOCK IN YOUR PROFITS WITH Trailing STOPS because TGC is a volatile stock!
