New Portfolio 7/21-7/25/08

Once again, $50,000 was divided equally among the following 10 stocks , or 5k into each one . Friday's 7/18/08 CLOSE prices were used as a start point . Just a quick note, last week's 7/14-7/718/08 portfolio was up both Monday and Tuesday of that week for a gain of $1330 or 2.66% in those 2 days . Perhaps with these portfolios it is best to "Take the Money and run " once a 2% gain has been reached? ......I am still reviewing that possibility.

A hurricane is brewing, and just the threat of possible destruction of oil rigs in the Gulf is sending oil prices higher . Hoffmann La Roche also just acquired a pharmaceutical outfit, and with drug companies hungry for small cap pharmaceutical and biotech companies with drugs in the pipeline, they will seek to acquire them . With those thoughts in mind my picks today are ......You guessed it .......oil , pharma and biotech!

Wow futures are really on a DOWNSLIDE, oil is up slightly and, apparently the hurricane will bypass the oil rigs in the gulf , although the Texas coast may be in for some damage . Gold is also moving up .The following 8 look ready to run ......keep tight stops and take profits dont be greedy !
