Actually, not late this time. These are in the Sharkfolio for some time.

Speaking of late...I finished the CwH list but I have an emergency at work and I have to leave for a few hours...so I'll have to update the site later this afternoon

lol yeah, they can't make it too hard!

River, congrats on graduating to a fine direct access broker! Would recommend you practise on the demo TWS and set up hot keys for order execution.

What's the minimum number of monthly trades to get the good rate?

Practice, schmactice. I'm in with real $$ already! Have plenty of hand-holders on this forum (as in "this is what I am doing and this is why. Follow my example and I will teach you"! Besides, love to hold hands ). And yeah, I had to rationalize the answers to some of the questions, especially the ones on "straddles." Got most, 85% right on the first try, 14% on the second, and 1% well, 4th try. Have figured out the TWS without the demo (they don't make it too hard!) but, if can find time this weekend, will work thru it.

I don't think there is a minimum number of trades. The fees stay the same for all. I just paid 2.50 for 2 trades involving 3 contracts. It's $1 per trade plus a small transaction fee at the CBOE, ISE, et al.

                  River,
How easy is their site to navigate compared to Scottrade? Do orders seem to get filled quickly ? That's a problem I had with Scott.

I use limit orders so can't comment on fill speeds. Haven't any complaints about Scottrade in that respect. The IB site is easy to navigate but so far I've only looked at options & underlying. Haven't yet tried to set up watch lists or anything. Basically, I'm only going to use it for options trading. I'm still using Scottrade for everything else and still getting used to Scottrade Elite vs. the original version. There's a whole lot of info. at hand there and have been so busy doing "real work" I haven't had time to completely figure it out yet but have set up some screens I'm comfortable with.
