    Mm

    MM,
Why do you love stock splits? RIMM splits 3:1 on August 20. What benefit will that be to share holders?

I'll be reduced to rubble if the market continues this trend!

Open positions = loss of about $4950
Closed positions = gain of about $5200

So can you help me understand the benefit of the system? Perhaps there should be a stop loss of say 15-20% - large enough so that your gains (most of them) would be maintained but not at the risk of losing upwards of 50% on some stocks). Also while those open stocks are sitting at such a loss for a long period of time, that money could be used for the other good stocks that your system filters out.

    Just curious

Your question regarding stop loss has been analyzed extensively on this forum. Data has been back tested and it has been proven that stop losses would yield inferior returns.

I believe that the stocks I am holding will outperform the market going forward.

    excellent choice, and fantastic writeup!

Nice pick, $$MM. The blackberry device is so damn useful, that RIMM will make billions more of them (as well as dollars). They will be so ubiquitous that "blackberry" will become a verb, like "google".

I'm in with you at 222!
