    I don't have numbers to back it up, but I believe the % of stocks under $10 that ever gain enough to crack $15 is smaller than the % of stocks over $10 that ever gain 50%.

    You are correct. The first person to pick a stock under $10 that closes at $15 or more before market close Dec.21st wins 1st prize.

    Interesting contest, Billy. I'm a little puzzled about the premise, though, as it seems to suggest it's less difficult for stocks $10 and greater to gain more than 50% in 3 months. I would say there are compelling arguments that it's even more difficult for the higher-priced stocks to gain that much, but I haven't done any studies on the subject and maybe you have.

    Nevertheless, I will try to come up with a pick, but I haven't got one yet.
