Jack Carter "Trend Point Software" ?

Recently I received a promotional piece entitled ""Trendpoint Software". Apparently it is a one mouse click operation to reveal stocks with a high probabilityof moving several points in a 2-10 day period. Supposedly even a trained monkey could get rich using the $3,970 Dollar Program.
    Has anyone used this program?
Also if you just wish to receive Jack Carters Picks and belong to his ( No thinking on your part) The elite 100 group .....one pick on Monday and Wednesday.....MORE if market conditions are favorable. He will also throw in tips from his friend , Mr X a hedgefund trader , who has the inside tract , and who will email you the information when he gets wind of a super trade. That is the "Carter 100 service" , only 100 members allowed . That service will be provided weekly for at least a year and will cost $4995.
Wow..... not exactly "chimp" change .Has anyone subscribed to either The Trend Point program, or the elite 100 group?
Any information you could provide would be helpful to all.
After all...... no one wishes to have a "monkey" be made of them . LOL

    Pete,
Never heard of Jack. Where do all these "experts" come from? I think we've got a few guys here that are better than any of them. I keep getting e-mail from Andrew "Gecko" Gordon and Tim Lufts. Who are they?

Why doesn't the person selling this use it to make his/her $billions? Why do they need to sell it for $4995 if it could potentially be so much more profitable? If it sounds too good to be true......!

          Here's a method:

Make a small portfolio out of my pick, spike's pick and Karel's pick for the POTW. Since the beginning of the year, this portfolio would be up almost exactly 100%, compared to 15.9% for the nasdaq and 8.7% for the S&P500.

Please send your $4,995 to SSK Eclectic Analytics (stenz/spike/karel).

                Peter, Don't forget the $4,995 !
Without that, the method will fail.

                  Hats OFF

As a person, looking from the outside in, I find the most important thing of the before mentioned chart is who name is mentioned last. Marlin

Peter, I'm reading and interested, thanks for your analysis. I agree for the most part with the philosophy. Trade with the market, not on what you think the market "ought" to do or will do. It's all about what it actually is doing. My recent strategy has also been to buy stocks setting new highs and to use stops. Looking forward to part 2. ...stenz

And in case you are not being a wise guy, put on your glasses and study the legend and the chart a bit closer. The data points are marked with differently formed markers. It is a bit subtle, but clear enough once you get used to it.

BTW, I don't think this Mr. Combined is a really good guide. I am in this chart for 80+%, but that is not my average result YTD (=45%), and not at all my average result overall for the portfolio I grab the picks from (=25% annualized).

                          Regards,

                            PART 1

                            1. His trading method is simple and only takes 17 minutes of your time daily. Jack claims he spends only 30 to 60 minutes per day......2-3 days per week on his trades.
                            2. His method is about "trading" and not "investing" in the market.
                            3. Stocks are held approximately 2-10 days.
                            4. All stocks are "Worthless" NEVER marry a stock, and ALWAYS have stops .
                            5. Wall street is rigged ....look what recently happened to WCG..down 75% in a few days......they are under INVESTGATION.....so much for all their BS reports .
                            6. His method involves no story stocks, finding pie in the sky stocks ready to explode or other such nonsense.
                            7. NOBODY on Wall Street cares what YOU make.......they only care about what THEY make.
                            8. NEVER trade with "Scared" money .....i.e. MONEY which you can't afford to lose. If you do..... pschologically ..you will be doomed from the start.
9 Since Jack holds stocks only 2-10 days , only SIMPLE Technical analysis is used, Fibonacci Numbers, Elliot Wave Graphs, various candle chart patterns are all nonsense for his type of trading.
                            10. His BASIC premise is to BUY stocks moving UP in price, namely those stocks which have just reached their 52 week highs.
                            11. He does use 3 TREND LINES and from close analysis in his publication ..they appear to be 20 EMA , 50 EMA and 200 EMA moving averages.
                            12. In Part 2 I will attempt to put it all together and tell you the steps the program takes to finally arrive at his picks....you can then do this manually

I am working on PART 2 ....hopefully there are some interested and reading this? I will post it shortly.
I am interested and I will definitely read it!

Unfortunately The report must be termininated

I had spoken to a friend who is knowledgeable in legal matters .....and he did explain to me, even though I would be guessing about methods used by the author, there could be some copyright issues. So to avoid any legal entanglements , I will terminate any more comments on this issue. He did say that I should work on my own report, completely devoid of reference to any author's work. I will begin to do just that. I will also delete a few of my previous posts in this section. I do hope everyone understands my concerns.
