Well, thank you. I'm out of school til September, I did get a masters and I'm going to give the PhD. program a shot. Last two weekends in June were the Groton House horse trials which I enjoy. I posted a pic of my sister riding there in the Louetta Lore thread. I'd recommend the Boston area. You can ski and swim within an hours drive of the city (albeit not in the same season). Also lots of cultural, educational and sports stuff. Reasonable climate. I've been bearish for a while now, I've had QID since maybe March. Got in too early but I averaged down, which I don't normally do for stocks, but this is a market timing thing. Frankly can't see a bullish case til maybe October. Methinks inflation is rampant. I've mentioned gas, protein bars and fried clams as particularly outrageous examples.

in what program would you take the PhD? is that another two years of school? the academic life is so nice if you aren't stressed out for funding. i saw the picture of your sister. pretty neat. i guess you don't ride. i would not be moving up to boston or making a move from where we live. if it materializes i would be putting one of my guys in place in an office and we would run it that way. i would most likely get an apartment or something close to where the jobsite is if it works out the way i want it to just to be able to have a place to stay when i am on the jobsite. probably a couple of times a month. definitely close to great skiing areas and the cape and ocean is right there. i'll let you know how it goes. if i am up there and in boston i'll let you know when. i would love to actually see those shoulders and to meet you in person.

Economics. Its in the school of Arts and Sciences, some people confuse it with the business school. Its probably three years more. I ride but I'm no where near being able to do an event, i.e. cross-country, fence jumping, that sort of thing.
