Where is Louetta? I miss her. I always thought her legs and swimmer's bod were very appealing to the eyes. Not only that, her smarts put her even higher up on the list. Where are you, Louetta? Come back to us!

Can anybody guess what is behind me in this picture? I'll give 50K internationally tradeable cool points to the first winner:

What's behind you???...Looks like water to me.

Should be close. The official name seems to be The Esplanade theatres, but Singapore Durian (Convention Center) seems to be the common (nick)name, after the Durian fruit, the taste and odour of which seem to be rather remarkable.

Spike gets the points for being first to be right. It's the Merlion! 50,000 internationally tradeable cool points are added to your already HUUUUGE mound of cool points

Karel, for being so adept at research and for the complete answer as well as interesting and informative links, you get 10,000 internationally tradeable cool points... not like you really need them.

Billyjoe, I'll give you 5,000 Ohio tradeable cool points for the effort

Doug, if you had any cool points to begin with, I would take them all away. That's what you get for being such a wisenheimer (aka, smartass) Can we swear now?

ps. I'm back in Kuala Lumpur now and will only be in Singapore for 10 hours on Tuesday night / Wednesday morning. I missed the night jungle safari and will miss it this time, too. But, maybe next time. Thanks for the recommendation. After my one night in Singapore, it's back to the good ol' U.S.A.
