    ETF Trades for 2008

Yahoo Finance page; click on investing; drop down click on ETF's; Left margen click on by vol.; Now click on three month ave. [Or click this link: ETFs on Volume (3 month avg.)]

This path will lead you to the most active stocks by vol. averaged out over three months. I feel this will offer you an open veiw of what stocks the others are into, so you can go with the flow or buck the trend.

Of these twenty stocks 9 are trading with a 6 month uptrend, so if your preference is short, pick the next stock to head downward, and post it here.

o what the hell, you post your picks, and I shale give it an erenst effort to post a monthly result, and we will use the POTY rules unless other wise posted. One pick only, and first come first serve.

Now look what you have done, Ollie ???????????????? Marlin

    Which way will it go

EWT === hitting res. @ EMA 20 will it gap up on the open & fill or bear flag is this country.

XLB === vol. is up but res. @ $38.00 again bear flag country.

EWH === Bumped the EMA 5 & setteled lower, has gaps to fill. No tech help.

IYR === 5 has bumped the 20 twice crossed once since to just make another flag. support is comming around $56.

SDS === 4 strong days and looks to me to be a few more in sight. Marlin

I do not have “INVESTING” on my Yahoo home page. To get to
“INVESTING” I must first click on “FINANCE”. Then, at the top there are
multiple tabs, one of which is “INVESTING”. If I drop down the list,
      I then can select ETF’s.

That is right. Marlin asked me to edit the first post, and I added two links, one to Yahoo Finance, the starting point of his procedure, and one to the sorted list, which you could bookmark if so inclined.

Here is the last link again: ETFs on Volume (3 month avg.)

In 2006 163 new ETF's were sponsored, in 2007 another 201 were spongored in the first three 1/4's. I do believe the grand toatal is somewhere around 560 now days. As the markets change so do the needs or the individual investors, so here is a link to a good source of info. www.etfresearchcenter.com (for a fee)
I'm not for sure but I do beleive that financials are represented the most. Next comes energy then telecom. Marlin
