    Shattered

Louis Eugene Navallier predicted in Oct 2008 that C would be shattered into 1,000 tiny pieces. If they dump Smith-Barney, that's the first piece.

The fact that Citi is looking to dump Smith Barney is a bad signal in my opinion. They wouldn't have any such intention if they felt comfortable with their balance sheet position.

    Something stinks.

I'm sure all us taxpayers appreciate the fact that C spent $400 mil to have their name plastered all over the stadium...Maybe those laid off auto workers can move to NYC and get their share of the bailout by selling beer and peanuts at the Met's games...Doug

The Nationals' Ryan Zimmerman hits a walk-off homerun in the bottom of
the 9th against the Atlanta Braves on Mar. 30. Probably just "luck." lol

I rechecked my purchase price, and it turns out I bought even lower than I thought. My entry is 3.93. I don't know where I got that 4.13 number.

Let's see ... (5.95-3.93)/3.93 = 51.4% one-day gain. That's pretty huge, is it not? So in answer to your original question: THAT is what I was doing.

Send me your finest wines and spirits! LOL

Is C really worth that much more than the entire U.S. auto industry and therefore worth piling more billions of dollars into it? Banks are a dime a dozen, automakers are an endangered species.
