Hi Meg...Well, you'll find Mr. M's pix on the topic list here...They are posted as a "sticky" topic so they stay near the top.

However, he has not had that many pix lately...But in this market environment that's fully understandable.

I remember MR.MARKET saying how you can pick winners regardless of how the overall market is doing. He used to come out with new picks within a few days of selling his last pick.

Are you saying he has not had a pick since RIMM??? That was 6 months ago!

What type of parameters have you set for your picks? For example, MR.MARKET stated that he will make at least a 15% profit in 4-6 weeks and he did that around 90% of the time.

Hopefully you are doing more profit in less time!

I don't actually make picks...I present stocks that meet certain parameters. It's up to the reader to see if they like any of them based on whatever criteria are important to them. However, in my email I will mention ones that I think are particularly worth watching...although there hasn't been that many lately.

My main focus is short term trading.

well you should be glad you're not holding BOOM right now. Ernie has had his share of winners but lots of times you don't get the straight skinny on the ones that go the wrong way. also the time element is essential as money left sitting and not working for you doesn't make sense to me. btw what has happenned to his home page?
another point is that anyone with a computer can come here and fill the pages with stocks that fit specific parameters and then when they go up state that they were on this list or that list and take credit for it. that's bullshit. there is a big difference in putting your name on a setup or trade and stating that it is ready to do what you state it will do and being right about it a higher percentage of times with your money on the line. i have to give ernie credit for being big enough to do that with his trades regardless of their outcome.

WoW! I'm impressed! Would LOVE to have 100" and roll around making snow angels! Cold weather places are my very favorite! Have been to Alaska, Antartica, and above the Arctic Circle about 5 times. You are SO-O-O-O LUCKY! (Sorry for the blasphemy on top of the lack of decency and compassion ). P.S. One of my daughters lives near the WI border in northern IL, so she is probably a neighbor of yours.

Ernie's home page is where it's always been at least on my computer. I've noticed many stock picking methods that worked well when the market was decent aren't working now. You can bet that when it turns from bear to bull Mr.Market will be taking in cash hand over fist. We're in a bad cycle. All my assets are safe and just waiting for the bull to charge.

There is no tracked percentage by person...And to be honest I doubt that that many here at this forum even consider my pix/lists

Last year I made 63% overall...I did not track the % of my dt's vs. longer holds last year....A couple of years ago I made 198% on dts and 28% on longer term holds.

However, I am not set up to give day traders Real Time info...I post all my trades within 10 seconds to 3 mins at a chat I'm on...I cannot do it here.

I mention those worth watching...But pre-m I may come up with a whole different list...When the market is good like late last April till late last October I could watch my watch lists...In a bad market it is a whole different story.

My philosophy is "Whatever Works"...Sometimes Growth Stocks that are technically right...sometimes News Plays...Sometimes 1 min technicals...Depends on the overall situation...I am flexible and adaptable...But I cannot be everything to everybody...Not a paying job...So I have to watch my own stuff first.
