This is important research and it would also be nice if you could share an anecdote about how you came upon this website, any stock picks in particular you found really interesting, or any other story you'd like to share.

Thanks for reminding me to vote. I am still getting used to the format of this forum. Requests like these don’t seem to stick out like they did before.
I could write for quite a while on the stocks I find interesting, so I will not bore you and the rest of the group.
I do have a story to tell.
I have been giving out links to your website to some friends and business associates of mine. They are people who complain about the money they lost in 2000-2002. I told them that MrMarket would be a good alternative, should they choose to sign up and do a little DD work in order to make 15%. I do not believe any of them have signed up or even given this site a look. They do, however, give me a replay of CNBC whenever I see them. I told them I quit watching it. It is interesting that they continue to pay a full time broker to give them losing ideas. Is there something in human nature that makes a person refuse to change? Or admit they may be wrong? Is it ego? I guess so. What do you think?

Just the other day I read a poster telling us how to make MONEY, by tweeking EARNIES model. They just don't get it, where is only one way to make money, EARNIES EARNIES EARNIES...
Then theres them that just don't beleive that it is possibable, you can talk until you are blue in the face, and they just don't believe. Take my step dad fore example, I have printed out verious screens and walked him through steps of my investments with $$MM$$, to no avail.
I have even stuck my neck out to tell EARNIE that I will have 5 new members by the end of NOV. If he were to purchase a shirt from U R B N. So I pump and pump, Come home and look at the new member list and find no one. I WILL NOT GIVE UP THE SHIP. I WILL BE THE LITTLE TRAIN THAT KNOWS HE CAN. EARNIE I still have 14 days to enlist new members before I start enrolling my pets as new members. ===> MEAGO BIG RED!!!!!

Tim ... these people have been told so many times by the "professionals" that they shouldn't listen to advice from "chat boards" and "internet pump & dumps" that they refuse to even look to see if they might learn something. If Ernie had an official newsletter that you had to pay to receive (like Kevin Kennedy now does) and had the kind of results that he regularly does, he would be profiled by all the major finaincial sites, and then they could pay to get the same kind of advice and discussion that we enjoy for free.[/quote]
Stenz...did you ever get in touch with Kevin and tell him that $$$MR. MARKET$$$ sent you?=============================
I am HUGE! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses.
