How about run a screen where you find a stock down at least 30% in the last 3 months with growing earnings, revenues, low PE and zero debt on the balance sheet.

Certainly this would be a company oversold in the panic downdraft..wouldn't you think??

Farmers are getting killed right now. Here's how:
1. In the Spring, they contracted to dry their corn and soybeans with L.P. gas at least 50 cents per gallon than the current price today.
2. They paid super high prices for seed and fertilizer due to the ethanol blitz.
3. Corn and bean prices rose to unprecedented highs, only to collapse these past two months. Corn is again $3.70! My bro.-in-law sold his corn at $6.75 this Spring; corn was $8+ on the Chicago board. All those farmers who waited for higher prices got crucified with higher inputs and then received lower commodity prices for their produce. Many went out and borrowed for new equipment, signed leases to rent land to farm for a number of years, and have thus shacked themselves into default.


It ain't good.

TNH: made the money off of the fertiziler that the farmer cannot now afford. Therefore this pick isn't for me.

HGT: 25% divy on Natural Gas. YEAH, Doug! Bring it on!

Me I like SJT, this is were my wife is from and also where I broke out in the oilfield. The San Jaun Basin is a huge Naturial Gas play that is almost drilled out, working on there infield drilling at present time. Will be producing for a few more years at the current rate, and then who knows what will happen. MEA
