Our winner of the week is Spikefader ! Well timed short on C which fell 33% from his entry. Well done !

I sure have have hit a string of losers over the past few weeks after having got off to a really good start this year. (I'm trying to stick to picking long only and picking only one stock per week at the very beginning of the week.)

I will try to end this losing streak with BMO long. Thanks, Spodee Ody!

Go Peter ! He not only grabbed first place this week shorting WYNN, making this his 5th placement for the year, there was no one who came close to his double digit returns. Well done ! This may still be a good short too considering the economic woes and total downfall of this sector this past year.

2nd and 3rd place goes to myself shorting CAT, (though I wanted to go long) and Karel going long on EXM. Not nearly as much green but considering the lows the market made this week, if you were in the green you were doing good. Seems to always be the case of late.

How low can she go.... Good luck all !

Ody what can I say? ,,,,,,LADY LUCK HAS BEEN KIND! One must be forever vigilant of the market gyrations , and what seems fool proof can fall apart .Perhaps the best secret of the market is summarized in 5 words, namely "The Trend Is Your Friend" and currently the trend in all markets is DOWN, although that may change in a nano second.
Rememeber there are NO guarantees , hence the absolute need for STOPS!
