I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Please sellAAUK for me and I'd like to go into HOKUlong
I think both AAUK and HOKU will both be great LT stocks. AAUK handles precious metals which will thwart inflation, and HOKU has outstanding solar industry exposure as well as LCD production exposure. I chose these this week due to the recent weakness and I'm hoping for a technical bounce

So yesterday I noticed that the time for some people's picks was off by an hour (unless they be thinkin' they can close and open a new trade after hours on Friday )
But no, I'm not seeing things. Yesterday at the bottom of the screen it said this:
All times are GMT -4
today it says this
All times are GMT -5
I'm.... I'm baffled Going to check everyone prices as I know Spike's was off a wee bit. Going to have to check the bottom of the screen from now on for everyone picks.
Btw, before I forget again. Bat, where did you go? Hope all is well on your end....
There we go. Luckily only a few people were affected from the time difference.
Thank you Spike for noting your picks were off, and congrats again for another great win ! Peter Hansen and Peanuts followed suit with some well earned double-digit returns placing them 2nd and 3rd for the week !
Spike timed his entries and exits nearly perfectly this week as the market went up then down. Peanuts did almost the same with AAUK and HOKU, and a good exit in general from AAUK as she was just kept going down Friday. Peter's pick with COF was just good as is from Monday to Friday. It was a slippery slope to green for a great short !
Well, my forecast was good, wish my stock pick had been the same. Only 4 of us who have been playing these past 5 weeks have not placed in the top 3. Time for us to break out the good picks.... what time is Cramer on again?
It's a wicked, wicked market; one in which it is exceedingly difficult to know what to do. What to do ... what to do ... what to DO!
And there is the answer: DO long, please, Ody.
Diamond Offshore Drilling is scheduled to report earnings this Thursday, and analysts are expecting 2.35. The PEG is an attractive 0.3. Like so many good companies, they've been beaten down in this shaky economic climate, probably more than reality warrants. And while it is true the market can remain irrational longer than most of us can remain solvent, in the final analysis all we can do is take our best shot.
My guess would be that she's ranging again between 8k and somewhere in the mid to upper 8X00's. But I agree Eliaskane, think I may wait 'till Friday to make a pick. Either that or go opposite of what I think for my pick. Course, that'll be the one time I'm right
