First Call Analysts Highest Ratings Portfolio and Report Card

This is the first of what I hope to be many weekly report cards on the First Call analysts 10 highest recommendations from the previous week. Since they come out each Tuesday, results will be from Monday close to Monday close of the next week. As long as the stock is rated in the top 10 it will remain on the list. If it drops out I'll try to determine its performance while it was listed. Grades will be given based on each week's performance. First number will be rating. 1.0=buy 2.0=buy/hold. Then last week price followed by current price and loss/gain percentage.

I believe that you can make money if you're right 30% of the time...However, I had 5 up and 2 dn today on my daytrades and I lost $$$ overall...I think I need to re-read the chapter on position sizing...LOL

Anyway, over 140 dt's since 8/23...running 50-50 which is better than I expected...up over 30% incl. commish...have not used my margin yet.

Today...Tried to catch STLD on the rebound...lucky I have a QUICK trigger finger...only lost 20 cents a sh on it...Bot/Sld TNH and AEOS...made lunch money overall

I see WITS made the list with a 1.4... I was never on the bandwagon but I will see If an opportunity arrises to pick up some shares at low $17's high 16's... Looks good long term.
