Doug, I bought BABY at the open. Pretty bufuddled that it lost half it's gain, but managed to bag about .35/shr. Do you like its chances of following through?

Looked at the technicals...I'd be careful at this point...wait for the P/V action to be right...and maybe another scalp???

Note: The R1 and S1 is added to my my scan using the formula that I posted in the Site Watch Section at Mr. B on Sunday(Which I graciously stole from Spike)...R1 and S1 is part of a larger commonly used Daytrading formula...I do not know the validity of that formula yet though...My normal numbers I come up with are based on a confluence formula based on multiple technical factors. I round off the Q's to the nearest nickel because I don't really follow the Q's myself...IIC

Watch out for the CPI pre-m and China's reaction to the Treasury remarks today. Could be volatile on Wednesday!

You are most definately right! We rallied right up to mid-term resistance and our treasury department is kissing China's Bleep!

                    Great Job noticing that!!!

                    • 1182.50 is the key point to watch on the S&P 500. That is where we want to see what type of reaction we get. Lets see if it pulls back to a 38% fibonacci retracement at the most and breaks above. That will put us long till we near the top.

Not really...actually I pull these off my high RS list...I watch to see which one's move and then pull back during the first 1/2 hr...I might get 3-10 to watch after that time.

I also don't filter them beforehand...so many I would never be interested in for various reasons; e.g. price, ADV etc...but it takes about 30 seconds to come up with the list and it gives me something to watch at the open as I keep them all in Real Time...IIC

U.S. April core CPI unchanged; CPI up 0.5% By Rex Nutting
WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) - The underlying rate of U.S. inflation was unchanged in April, the Labor Department said Wednesday. The consumer price index increased 0.5% in April, driven by a 4.5% gain in energy prices, the fastest increase in energy prices in more than two years. Food prices jumped 0.7%, but other price increases were moderate. The core CPI, which excludes food and energy costs, was unchanged in April, the lowest rate of underlying inflation since November 2003. Economists were expecting the CPI to rise 0.4% in April after a 0.6% gain in March. The core rate was expected to rise 0.2% in April after 0.4% in March
