I've been watching VTIV for a few weeks and knew they were reporting yesterday morning. Almost took the plunge and gambled last Friday and took a position but couldn't bring myself to do it right in front of reporting earnings. Yesterday the first thing I did was look on Briefing.com to check out their report and the ship had left the dock without me. Good for you Doug. I didn't even get to benefit from the gap up in the contest because they opened above 23 or so. Glad you make something off of it.

It's kinda funny .... In my organization I have many (highly paid) excellent key employees who "suggest" many things .... and many "great" suggestions are indeed implemented. The ones demanding "their way or the highway" .... Hit the freakin highway! ... I call it "a team effort". Now, I'm NOT the head coach of this team and he has great latitude, but he does answer directly to me.

Geez...market bad...and I'm having a nice week on the DT front...Seems strange...but I know why it happens...it is easier for me to concentrate on a few stocks rather than too many movers...Made .965 sh on BIIB thx to a friend and .26 on KG...hated to sell KG but work was calling.

Today was OK early...CKCM +.17 NDAQ -.04 and FORD +.35...but I will chalk FORD up to "Luck"...Nice to see the Naz bounce off support...But I won't hold my breath...2130...2114...2096...That would be better IMO.

First of all Doug .... Please, "NEVER" be concerned with "stepping on my toes" .... I speak my mind and respect those who do the same .... I Have great trust in my key people .... I choose them carefully, I test them in lesser positions, then I (usually) promote from within my organization. I pay my folks well and want them to find joy in their work .... I desire all employees at my company to be happy. If they ain't .... I fire their ass, pronto!LOL

I'm 42, I started my company in 1985 from "scratch" .... Here's how my "global picture" looks .... I employ about 90 people .... I spend about 10 hours a week at the office .... I spend the majority of my time with my family, I'm very involved with my religious activities, I run my beef cattle farm (with 2 good farm hands) ride my Harley, fish, hunt, etc .... and trade stocks the rest of the time (on two laptops.lol) .... Shaquille O'Neal just looked at a farm within 8-9 miles of my house (just this week!) to do basically the same thing I do every day (I can't sell him mine, since I only own 500 acres, plus I'm too attached to it) .... I take it you've heard of Shaquille O'Neal?
