I rate them using multiple criteria and assign a numerical value to each criteria between 1 and 100. Then I add them all up and the ones scoring the highest are A+ and the lowest are E-.Originally posted by pftrader View PostThanks,
I understand you have a secret formula, but what do the ratings A-E mean? What does it mean that one stock gets an A+ while another gets an E-.
One thing I don't do is weight the criteria...I'm thinking about doing that but have not taken the time yet...Then again I may feel that one criteria is more or less important than somebody else.
My suggestion on the long side is to take the A and A+ stocks and run them through your preferred fundamental and/or technical scans.
Best...Doug

Also, how do you select the stocks to "IIC 100" out of the thousands on the powerrating page?

Thanks,Originally posted by IIC View PostI cannot speak for Mr. Market...Maybe he can comment.
The ratings are based on a formula that I came up with that combines some fundamentals and technicals. These are not recommended buys or sells but they are intended as a starting point for stocks worth further investigation.
Thanks...Doug

I cannot speak for Mr. Market...Maybe he can comment.Originally posted by pftrader View PostHi, I have had a look at your list of stocks and their power ratings. Looks like a nice set of momentum plays.
Could you please help me with understanding the list a bit? The ratings from A to E, are these a measure of the technical strength of the stocks?
Would you consider the A+ ones to be the best ones to focus on if one would like to trade like Mr.Market?
