Now if you could lose a couple of ma’s and put volume as an indicator rather than an overlay you would reduce the clutter a bit more.

I don’t know your objective in posting these charts but if it’s to assist in finding patterns all a trader should need is a chart showing the pattern. If he needs some indicators to confirm the pattern then he should be able to input the symbol into his own charting program to see if his favourite indicators are bullish or bearish.

FWIW I check the Elder Impulse charts as a confirmation every so often. I actually try and stay a step ahead of Elder, If I see a buy signal setting up I’ll jump in early with a tight stop.

Also thanks for the time and effort you put in every week.

True...The pattern is the pattern regardless of the indicators.

Anyway...Here is one chart I use for scalping...However, my trades are based on more than just the chart; e.g. Group, Bid/Ask and some other stuff...May seem like a lot to look at but it becomes second nature after a while...Of course I miss the majority of good trades because I am not set up ahead of time.

Stockcharts has explanations of the indicators at their free chart school...Thanx...Doug

As far as all the indicators on most of the charts I post...those are not the charts I watch myself...I have so many things on the posted charts because different people use different indicators.

I use Elder Impulse Charts myself but most people don't know what the colors mean...I can post one here over the weekend...Thanks, Doug
