I don't know how many of you have access to this info??? I have
received permission to post it as long as I give credit to the owner of
the copyright. The owner, via permission from IBD is
StratInv.com ...Hope some find it useful...

I know that some probably think that
I am Anti-Canslim...Which is really not true...I just believe in
                      a "Modified" Approach( Can't Slim...LOL)...

And now, since I don't have
nearly as much time to daytrade due to other obligations, I am using
more CS criteria in my pix for swings and intermediate term
trades...Guess you could say I'm getting back to my roots

I did not post all the charts...and I did not take the time to put all
the verbage w/ each chart...but here it is unsorted(Gotta match it
yourself). I am not trying to sell anything here...but if you are a
                      Canslimmer...This guy knows his stuff:

The Investor's Business Daily reports the number of the IBD 6000
Accumulation/Distribution totals of stocks priced $5.00 and higher each
day in the General Markets and Sectors page. The graphs are developed
from a spreadsheet which is posted daily and are updated through
November 18, 2005. The IBD numbers are located on the General Markets
and Sectors page in the B section of the paper each day. The graphs are
copyrighted by Strategic Investing & Adrich Corporation although we
grant permission to our subscribers to use in any manner provided
                      attribution is given.

                      History of the A's

The above chart shows the number of A rated stocks in the IBD data base
of 6,000 stocks since 12/1/1998 and includes only stocks with a value
of $5 or greater. The chart clearly shows the large variation in the
number of stocks that are under significant accumulation by the
institutional investors. The swings in the number of A rated stocks
clearly indicates the markets trend. The downturn in the market that
began in January 2005 was clearly predicted by the pullback of the A
rated stocks in late December 2004.

The upturn in the A's beginning in late April 2005 heralded the start
of the summer rally. In late August, the drop in the A's suggested
that the summer rally was over. In early October, the upturn in the A's
signaled the start of the October rally.

                      Action in 2004 - 2005

On July 23, 2002, the number of A's were only 106, the all-time record
low. Shortly thereafter, the market began its rebound. During the
current move, we have seen the market reach approach the 200 level in
mid-April 2005. On Monday, April 18, the number of A's were down to
221 before we began the riding the roller-coaster in the market. After
peaking above 1000 in late July, the number of A's fell rapidly in
August and fell below the red zone. At the beginning of September, the
number of A's began to reverse. However, each new up move has not
exceeded the previous top which is a warning sign. Then after failing
to reach the previous high of late September, the A's fell dramatically
as seen above. In the second week of October, the A's began to reverse
and have moved steadily higher and are now at the red zone.

Have we seen the market top?
Market bottoms often occur when the number of A and B stocks are below
50%. Market tops occur when the combined number of A and B stocks is
above 70%. From mid February 2003, the number of A and B stocks rose
dramatically until the middle of June 2003. The general trend of this
indicator was downward until the double bottom of June and August
2004. Then the indicators moved higher until December 2004. In
December 2004, the A and B percentage reached the 70% level and and
then started a decline until April 2005. Since the middle of July, the
percentage of A's and B's declined until the August bounce.

The interesting thing to me about this graph is that since 12/1/1998,
the percentage of stocks rated A in the IBD 6000 that were over $5 per
share rarely exceeded 20% and only during two periods were under 10%.
Also, note that when the percentage of A's got over 25%, the market
turned down shortly thereafter in almost every case. In the past,
this has indicated a market top in place.

Likewise, when the percentage of A's fell below 5%, the market headed
up shortly thereafter. But note that the market can stay in the 5% to
                      10% area for months.

                      The Above $5 Universe
The following chart shows the number of stocks in the IBD database that
have been over $5 per share.

The number of stocks in the IBD database that were over $5 per share
continue to exceed 5,000 stocks. Note also that the highest number
coincided with the market's peak in March 2000. Since October 2002,
the number of stocks above $5 has shown an increase as the market rally
has continued. However, we are a long way from the high of 7,100 set
in March 2000. Since late January 2004, the number of stocks over $5
per share declined until the end of July 2004. Since the end of 2004,
the number of stocks over $5 per share declined until early May 2005.
However, the slow increase in the number of stocks over $5 per share
confirms that we are in a range-bound market.

                      The A + 194 Stocks
The following chart shows the number of stocks that have qualified for
the A+194 rating in each Stock Watch List and Market Commentary since
May 1999. These numbers are based upon the A+194 rating on Friday's IBD
paper. The A rated stocks peaked in early June 2005.

The following chart shows the A+194 data plotted as of each Thursday
                      night against the DJIA numbers.

The obvious recent divergence between the number of A + 194 stocks and
the DJIA is apparent from this chart. In the past, whenever, we had a
difference, it did not last long. Note that since March 2003, we have
the longest period of divergence since these statistics have been kept.

Frequency Distribution since 5/6/1999 of A+194 Stocks based upon
                      Thursday's close.

                      Number of A+194 since 5-19-1999 & A+190 stocks since 1-1-2002
