Stocks on both the IIC 100 and IBD 100 in alpha sort:

Now, my original speculation was that generally the one's on both
lists would do well overall when the market does well...So far the
Ups/Downs the last 3 weeks are 22/1 17/2 16/13. But just like the IBD
100, my lists are only offered as possible ideas...not recommended
buys. For example, even though GOOG and CTHR appear on both lists...I
would never consider buying either one. I would also not consider
buying HANS at this point.

Nobody can come up w/ a "Sure Thing" list week after week IMO...Best, Doug(IIC)

Have you ever paper traded ports of any of the Mr.Breakout watchlists , such as cup w/handles , IIC 100, or undiscovered gems ? Glad to see 2 of my top 10, HOM, RWC also in your top 10. MED and TLF also made my top 10 , but are down the list on the IIC 100.
When determining your lists , how high of a value do you place on Relative Strength vs. Earnings ? I'm trying to fine tune screening , adding a few and deleting others. I'll get rid of "% of management ownership" this week.

No...I never paper traded any of those lists. They are only intended as a starting point.

The IIC 100 is based on Earnings and RS and a few other things. I personally like high RS stocks. However, my RS database only consists of 5500 stocks and it goes from 1-100. So my RS numbers may not match other's RS numbers...but from the one's I've ever checked they are pretty close except for some IPO's...I don't don't know how others figure the 1 year RS on IPO's that are less than a year old but it must be different than the way I calculate it....Best, Doug
