Gap and Crap...I believe there is reasonable support in the 13.40 area.

So the FED drops 1/4 point tomorrow...So what!?!?!?...The REAL FED rate changes everyday and is already down there:

Intraday support held...in SGMO 11.80's

Wow...Up over 12% today...Unfortunately I had to leave about 1/2 hour after the market opened so I put in a limit sell order...that certainly got taken out...Well, a gain's a gain...IIC

Without reading all the commentary...My first thot about a 50 point reduction is that the FED is telling us that things are worse than even I thought they were.

So interest rates go down...Who benefits? Do you??? Perhaps you do...However, I don't see any immediate benefit on my end...I hardly owe anyone anything anyway...Although, I will look at the deals as I might buy my wife a new car in the next 6 months.

Not for everyone...But on the last 3 cars we bot for her I got pre-approved loans on the Net...Took in the papers and when they asked how much I was planning on putting down I said "NOTHING... I DIDN"T BRING MY CHECKBOOK...I'm not taking any cash outta my pocket"...Of course they always beat the loan I already have approved by a smidge. But the last 2 were under 5%...So let's see what they are offering next month.

I'm in CRNT at 14.20. I'm trying to set a trigger price. Do you think it wil gap to the (higher crest) Sept 5th price, or to the lower sept 13th price because it has more support and heavier volume.

CRNT needed to cool off...I had put support at about 13.40...It didn't go down that far. Generally I think most would like to see lower volume on the down slide. Also notice that the overall volume last week was only average for the 5 days combined. However, I don't mind seeing higher volume when it finally bottoms...sort of the inverse of the exhaustion run on the upside. Too early to tell for me because the overall market has done so well the last 2 days and I don't know how long that will last but I can envision 17.50ish to 18.00 before another major pause here...Doug

Wasn't BPHX in your IIC100 a few months ago? It's up 172% since March 15th and not in the 100 anymore. Have earnings dropped along the way? It seems to be gaining steam.
