Ya know...I ran an unofficial IIC 100 Scan last Wed or Thurs just for kicks and TBSI would have been # 1 if it had been Friday after the close. I was surprised when WX came up on Friday evening as # 1

Thx...but STV is not on the list.

As I may have mentioned, since April I have only been trading from our CwH and PoI lists except for six 10 O'Clock Bulls Trades the week after I came back from vacation and now STV. I just couldn't pass STV up after reading about it on Thursday. I paid 32.80 which wasn't the best price but I had to leave early Friday so I just put in an order and got filled.

This has been a very good year...with a couple notable exceptions as usual..But no real disasters

also, sure wish I had the guts to buy STV after your email today, but IPO stocks scare the heck out of me! I sure missed the boat on that one! grrrrr.

Actually...the email alert was sent Saturday...But I know a lot of people don't check their inbox over the weekend.

PoI = Patterns of Interest...Along with the Cups w/ Handles I post every Sunday at my site I also post the PoI's...The PoI's are simply stocks that show up on my CwH scans that look interesting but do not meet my own personal criteria for a CwH ( It also includes some that others send me to check out to see if I think they meet my CwH criteria)...It does not include other stocks that I may think are interesting (e.g. STV) that I find from other methods.

I run scans for CwH's from my own database and Stockfetcher...along w/ looking at every chart of the IIC 100 and IBD 100...If I don't look at 800+ charts then I pick some other lists to look at. For example, last Sunday I had only looked at 787 charts...So I decided to look at the DJIA to get me over 800...Well, I found HON (which may be debateable on the left side run.)

I will admit that some that make the CwH list really should not...perhaps the handle is too low...or the left side run is not 20%...Or the rt and lt side cup highs are not within 5%...I don't sit here w/ a calculator on most (some I do calc tho)...I estimate %'s mostly...That is why you might see a stock on the CwH list one week and the PoI list the next or vice versa...But IMO both lists are worth checking out...Thx...Doug(IIC)

Nope...but I must be destined to hold...tried to trim late yesterday at 38.80 and I had entered the trade in the wrong account...then the market closed...tried to trim at 49,20 today and my computer crashed

There may be some cramer affect on STV since he pumped it last night...Briefing has been posting favorably too...Where's revshark???

QID...Took a bath on it...I'm out...but the STV gain more than covered it...Overall a real nice year.

There is a lesson to be learned (or re-learned in my case)...Play what is happening...Not what you think will happen
