Market Indicators

The NAZ 100 was up a fraction A/H but
the NAZ Short-Term Overbought/Oversold Oscillator and the 10 Day
Up/Down Vol. Moving average Indicators both indicate we've got
further downside...Good Luck...IIC

P.S. I don't usually check the NYSE Indicators...but they also
indicate a downtrend although not as drastic.

Wish the market was going to do better...but to keep in practice I am watching: HLEX, PDII, SMTI, ENWV, MTEX

Geez...My Watchlist is sure down the tubes...but actually, I'm pleased about it...makes for more potential upside when the market rebounds...of the one's I listed 2 posts ago...I would particularly watch HLEX...Best to all...Recommend Longs stay in cash for now. I'm over 85% cash myself...IIC

HLEX looks great...I wouldn't make my final pick because it doesn't have 3 years of profits yet....someday probably!

I like HLEX...but the long market is ugly...I will wait for the Market Indicators to reverse before making any large long buys...If the NAZ cannot find support above 1875 or so I am afraid we may be headed toward 1780. Leaders are getting hammered. We may see a teaser day tomorrow???...Go with the flow and resist the temptation to go long if that happens unless you want to daytrade...Once this mess is over with I will look at fallen leaders...but will basically start from scratch...Just my 2 cents...Best, IIC

I rounded off...maybe I should have said 1878 which was the low on the last significant NAZ dip on 11/21. It is preferable to see the low on a correction stay above the low on the previous correction from a Bullish perspective. It doesn't always work out that way (see the low on 8/8...it was lower than the low on 7/21...but the market still came back). But all the other lows on significant dips since the low of 5/21 have been higher than the previous low. Not an exact science, but I prefer to go with the odds. For example, on the August low we waited a little longer than usual to see if the uptrend would hold.

But primarily we use the Dailygraphs Market Indicators for market direction...The Short Term Overbought/Oversold Oscillator and the 10 Day Up/Down Volume Moving Averages are pretty good for playing momentum. There are some other things too...like info from my stock buddies...Hope this answers your question...Best, IIC

good job for the prediction on AV, i looked at it when you posted and laughed as it reversed 8cents bellow you mark well done.
Im in a stock DROOY, traded it many times, bought at $2.40, watch it rebound frist thing in the mornen to about 2.50 - 55, nice couple hundred for me. Hlex is a wait for me also, going to wait untill the market decides what it wants to do with this new interest rate cabugle.

The more I look at the market direction...the more I don't like it long...no follow throughs. And too many distribution days.

Also, as a followup to my earlier post about 1878...the next level would be 1841(low on 10/24) and 1783(low on 9/30)...I hate to think beyond that.
