boy, if you look at the bullish% #'s, they were all hitting the high notes this week. So they're still alot of bulls out there.

But yesterday the $BPNDX was down 3.00...biggest drop in a while. The +DI crossed down thru the ADX too. Also, the shorter term emas are are crossing dn thru a few of the longer emas...This is not good. I will post a ribbon chart this weekend...Doug

You have to post this chart every 2 weeks, OK? This thing is awesome. The crossovers and tightening/widening on the moving averages puts a nice perspective on the market environment. The "fake-out" point would have been frustrating to trade. Is there a confirmation that you use other than the ribbon crossover to confirm market direction?

Here is a 5 year chart of the Naz Composite Bullish Percentage...The Naz comp chart is at the top.

I know it is difficult to see but I put bullish signs based on the ADX in green. The bearish or neutral signs are in blue. There isn't enough room to distinguish between them.

I would consider it Bullish when the +DI line is above the -DI AND above the ADX. When the +DI dips below the -DI AND/OR the ADX it is time to be out long. If the -DI is above the +DI AND ADX it is a short signal. If the +DI simply crosses below the ADX but not the -DI it is a neutral signal.

You can reverse that for the -DI.
