I illustrate a very simple way to help you determine the trend. I use Weekly Charts over the last 15 years...It would be best for most to use Daily Charts but I wanted to show a longer time frame...Short Term Traders may want to use Intraday Charts.

I have also prepared some charts to show you how I day trade the ETF's...I will post them tomorrow.

I only showed one of my actual trades from last week...I usually am not around to catch most of those moves...But, I must say that what I put up there on the ETF's as examples is like paper trading...Real Life is not so easy...Hangups, bad limits, whipsaws etc...I don't know but from my earlier paper trading experiences on daytrading my guess is that REAL LIFE will return 30 to 50% less than DT paper trades...That is why you see so many of my posts that say I made something like .20 or .25 a share...If there was a voice recognition broker I think I could make a lot more...Basically, I only make part of a usually larger move...Even when I make a perfect call.

You can short them...But I never have...If you are really astute you might be able to do better doing that...I never tried...But I will tell you one thing...This 2x thing is only a TARGET...Really has no basis in reality...Check back...They move on supply/demand...Best, Doug
