Nice job Peanuts ! He grabbed AGQ at a good point, riding that stock up +17% and taking the Gold medal this week. He's nearly to Wooish's halfway point now
ProShares Ultra Silver (the Fund) seeks to provide daily investment results that correspond to twice (200%) the daily performance as measured by the United States dollar fixing price for delivery in London. The Fund will not directly or physically hold the underlying silver, but instead will seek exposure to silver through the use of financial instruments, whose value is based on the underlying price of silver to pursue their investment objective.

I grabbed a Silver this week off of CCK, then shorting IPI for a little. Been trying the earnings plays and I finally got myself above the 10k mark !
Crown Holdings, Inc. is engaged in the design, manufacture and sale of packaging products for consumer goods. The Company’s primary products include steel and aluminum cans for food, beverage, household and other consumer products and metal vacuum closures and caps
Intrepid Potash, Inc. is a domestic producer of muriate of potash. It is also engaged in the production and marketing of potash and langbeinite. The Company markets the langbeinite under the name of Trio. As of December 31, 2009, the Company owned five active potash production facilities, including three in New Mexico and two in Utah.

Steelman takes the Bronze this week on JAS, also an earnings play, taking almost 5% on the dot. Well done sir !

The Company’s retail stores (operating as Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft stores and Jo-Ann stores) and Website (www.Joann.com) feature a range of merchandise used in sewing, crafting and home decorating projects, including fabrics, notions, crafts, frames, paper crafting material, artificial floral, home accents, finished seasonal and home decor merchandise.

BesV cemented his win this week on his first pick, shorting ATEA for +16%. Alas, his second pick ENER did not cooperate, but not enough to lose him the Gold medal this week. Good eye sir !

Wooish grabbed double digit returns this week as well, going long on HERO and ACLS, and taking the Silver this week. His medal collection is growing vast, only 1 away from having 20. Not sure you'll be able to stand at the award ceremony Nice tradin' !
Hercules Offshore, Inc. (Hercules Offshore) provides shallow-water drilling and marine services to the oil and natural gas exploration and production industry globally. It provides these services to national oil and gas companies, major integrated energy companies, and independent oil and natural gas operators.
Axcelis Technologies, Inc. (Axcelis) designs, manufactures and services ion implantation, dry strip and other processing equipment used in the fabrication of semiconductor chips. In addition to equipment, the Company provides aftermarket service and support, including spare parts, equipment upgrades, maintenance services and customer training.

Gary611 comes in 3rd, snagging the Bronze medal and a nice +7% gain off of AKAM. Which he also made some money off of last week as well. Nice job !

Alas, my time is getting stretched more and more these days. And my wife is itching for another rugrat. I'm going to have to do the unthinkable come the end of this year. Unfortunately I'm going to have to retire from running the PotW contest.

Wow I must have been sick, I could've sworn I posted last week's results, my apologies, I've been under the weather the last few days.

Congrats to me ! I finally got my first Gold last week. I jumped the gun on both CCK and FSII and could have been more positive on both, but not going to complain on my double digit returns I was paranoid at the end there which is why I quickly went to cash on my 3rd position.

Wooish also took double digit profits on BPZ and snagged the Silver this week. His 18th medal this year and he's back into the $50k club. Well done sir !

BesV follows up with another great pick, taking the Bronze and +8% from PIP's losses. I see the stock has already returned to BesV's originally buying price today, nice tradin' BesV!
