I have 38 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Not quite sure of the rules. Is my position deemed to be sold at the end of the week or do I have to advise you when I want to sell?
If I buy something else is my first position automatically disposed of?
Interesting contest; thanks for taking the time to put it together.

Yes, the pick closes at the end of the week.
And yes, you can choose up to 2 more stocks to pick during the week, but you can only have 1 stock purchased at any time. So if you do make a 2nd pick, your 1st one is closed. As well, you can go to cash on your 3rd pick, or pick a 3rd stock. If you go with the 3rd stock option, you cannot make any more trades that week. You will hold your 3rd pick to Friday's close.
And thank you, but I just picked up from where someone left off The PoTW contest was founded by BillyJoe and I'm just the torch bearer at the moment. Good fun, and always nice to see what other people are thinking and trading.

Rob takes the Gold this week on Google's shoulders, riding the stock up for an impressive +11% gain. Well done ! I don't know why but it's always hard for me to see an already expensive stock gaining so much per share, but it's all in the percentages.
