Phoenix, Talk about taking chances, in my early, trusting others as expert days, I had one or 2 five figure screwups, but thanks to this site and continued research, those days are in the past, the $$ has been more than recovered, and the screwups keep getting smaller and the winners larger. I know a few that never take risks, they also rarely achieve great victories. Carry on, Phoenix, we're always reading.

Thanks for the nice words, I can use any good ideas for stocks to check out. There always seams to be good reasons to buy different stocks its just hard to narrow it down to pick the correct ones. I'm sure you know about all kinds of stocks, one that I always feel safe putting money in and not trying to pick a good time or price just do it is TAXI, pays a nice dividend, low PE, well run and just makes money on the way up.

Thanks for the nice words, I can use any good ideas for stocks to check out. There always seams to be good reasons to buy different stocks its just hard to narrow it down to pick the correct ones. I'm sure you know about all kinds of stocks, one that I always feel safe putting money in and not trying to pick a good time or price just do it is TAXI, pays a nice dividend, low PE, well run and just makes money on the way up.

TP I had forgotten about that one ....but since they deal with NYC Taxi medallions which keep rising in price .....it appears to be a good long term hold.

Phoenix, Amen to that. They'll "manage" to lose your money regardless of the market conditions. But, I did have one good money manager, in fact, the whole office was run by women. Then a guy came in probably fresh out of college, they sold out to a big name firm, everything went to hell and I left with a nice starting nest egg. Can't remember for sure . It must have been in the 1990's before I heard of Mr. Market.

Make your buy with a reasonable stop, say 10% or less, and see what happens, sell the bad ones, stockpile the good, keep repeating. I've got a stable of 10% to 60% gainers that way and hold just 4 losers and 35 winners with the worst at -8.11%.

If someone had a program that listed stocks which were ripe to explode like this , fortunes could be made.

Good Day For Stocks

For the most part the stocks on the previous list did extremely well. I am looking at a former pick of mine, a biopharama, which appears to be making a comeback.. Trying to find out what is going on with the stock...See you in the AM with the name. Take Care and have a beautiful night!

NVIC had a nice increase of 11% but I wouldn't call one buy of 100 shares a run. I don't buy stocks that trade very light, worry about getting out. One that I'm watching but I think too early to buy is LTNC. They have an office here in Charlotte and are doing the right things to grow the company. I don't know much about the technical ways to read charts. I don't even know what PPO or ADX stand for or how to read them on a chart, is up or down good. I did buy one Friday that I liked the candlestick chart on NM, it had a good day Tuesday but so did most stocks. Again I enjoy following your post. THANKS!

Yes you are right about the Low Volume stocks , they are more risky , and sometimes not that easy to unload. . I will watch LTNC.Thank You!
