you have to go back and do some review on risk vs reward and the mathematics of it. Ask Hags to explain the mathematics to you. but your risk vs reward will not work out over the longer term especially taking such small gains from your trades. but you persist on insisting that it will. document the trades with entry points and exit points and the reasoning behind each trade with risk vs reward and your mathematics to support your trading plan. and do this over a period of several weeks to see how it all works out.

Bought LYB 2/13/12 For $45.00 Will sell automatically for $48.60 to capture 5% Gain Current 2/17/12 Close price $43.98 Slight Loss
For My 8% Portfolio
Bought MOH 2/9/12 for $33.70 Will sell automatically for $36.40 to lock in 8% Gain..........SOLD 2/16/12 at $36.40 using the SELL LIMIT order for an 8% GAIN.....A new 8% Pick will be coming shortly!

AS you can see ALL WINNERS with the exception of one loser LYB .and I do have confidence it will hit its 5% Mark ..........when I can't say .......and neither can anyone else.

River I ran into the same problem......needless to say when companies change names like that ....it usually means a PUMPED STOCK! That is why I am NOT BUYING!
I still have a position in Crazy Horse Resources .......BUT they do have a nice website ...and I see promise there.

3D Printing and DDD

Check out this article on 3D Printing from USA Today ..They feature a small company called Maker Bots, but they also mention CUBE as part of DDD!
From the article it is evident that "3D Printing , like the microwave which was just a curiosity appliance in the 80s, may not be quite ready for prime time yet ....BUT I feel will be indespensible in the future. DDD is one of my picks and being a fan of technology , I do believe it will have a strong future!

Be sure to watch the short video clip on 3D printing. I still remember back in the day when a friend of mine purchased a Radio Shack Trash 80 Computer. He asked me what I thought of his purchase .......my response was "WTF do you need that for?" .........boy how wrong I was.

CVI is a top notch stock............but MDHI according to my calculations has 373,000,000 shares out and negative income. If I'd ever buy it I wouldn't stray far from the keyboard in order to dump it fast.

8% club devotees

Just bought CVI at $29.70.....SET 8% Sell Limit at $32.05 and my Dream Tai Program suggests a STOP of $26.15.

Well just how has the 8% club done ......well pretty damn good if I must say so myself here are the trades

1. CIE Bought 2/3/12 for $20.80 SOLD 2/8/12 for $22.50
2. MOH Bought 2/9/12 for $33.71 SOLD 2/16/12 for $36.40
3. CVI Bought 2/22/12 For $29.70 STILL IN PLAY

The 8% amounts don't seem like much .....BUT they do add up.
Simply compound your profits by always reinvesting previous wins.

Let us suppose you start with $1,000 ...you buy stock X let us say for $10.00 ......the after purchase set an 8% SELL LIMIT so that the stock will automatically sell for $10.80 You can also incorporate commissions into the calculations .
Your next pick would be bought with $1,000 + $80 ( Profit From Previous Sale) or $1,080 .The process would repeat for the following buy!
To All 8%s GOOD LUCK.

It may be Voodoo but I always try to maintain a positive attitude when buying stocks.....all the books I have read seem to say ....NEVER play with scared money i.e. that is money like the rent money or other funds you would be scared to death to lose.
Here is a simple saying to utter throughout the day ........CRAZY but it works.
"My subconscious mind governs and watches over all my financial transactions , and what ever I do WILL be prosperous"

RAX one of my picks I have a position is coming alive once again......still rated a STRONG BUY!

HALO is one of Morpheus' potential set up stocks. It's been hovering between roughly 11-11.75 for nearly a month. Look for a breakout with volume above 1.14 mil shares at the 11.90 level. Rated a strong buy at barchart. They show resistance at 11.89 and if it can top 12.13, watchout!
Support level was 11.18 before today's open. Numbers aren't exact, but close based on information available. I'm up about 2% so far.
