Folks as always when you think you have the stock market all figured out ......it decides to throw a curve ball.....no stock goes straight up

P7 - Congratulations. That is an impressive run and represents an 18 fold increase. What is the timeframe of the 61 picks. 2 years, 1 year, 6 months? Nice Work

Six "The System" picks were given to me by a friend. The system had been in existence since Jan 2010. The only draw back was that NO STOPS were used and the Sell Limit order was put in right after the stock was purchased. Sometimes a stock would drop 20+ Percent and that was scary. My friend and I are both still holding USAK one of the picks.
The system always used the previous night's close as a start point . USAK 11/19/13 close was $15.24 so the Sell Limit order was set at $15.98 to be applied the next day.....USAK made the 5% the next day and was sold .......when I bought the stock that day it dropped after my buy in and I am still holding , and so is my friend.
He became disenchanted with the system and is no longer in it. So I am left to come up with a system which I will call , "The FIVE Percent Super Jackpot System" I will buy certain stocks and then immediately set a 5% SELL LIMIT order , BUT I will determine some stop loss feature. I am still working out the details for this new system......stay tuned and be patient ......it will be worth your effort. ALSO I will compound the gains. For example if a 100 Dollar stock is bought and sold for $105 that will be the amount invested in the new pick .......and the system will continue on! If successful this will produce some dramatic gains in a relatively short period of time .
Needless to say it will be an interesting year!

I will Start the "SYSTEM" with actual money in my account. You will see what I paid for the stock and finally the 5% SELL LIMIT PRICE ! I am still working on all the details !

POSTED ON Sunday 1/4/14 . I will only post once a month , but just thought you wanted to see if these 5 stocks can produce results .....Well in "ONE" day the original 50K is now UP by $3,087 or to a grand total of $53087!!
Of course this was only ONE day , and to expect a performance like that every day would be insane. There will be UPs and Downs of course!

Phoenix, ROIAK has shown up on many of my screens lately rated as a buy just one tick below GTN in its industry. The only thing holding it back is a little weakness in earnings. Long range who knows , but it will probably make your 5%. Getting rich 5% at a time. I could live with that.

I'm in HIMX at $10.68 and I love the company. I'm sure they will bring some good surprises this year.
I don't know if you have analyzed PXLW as well but they are doing incredibly well during last weeks and IMHO it is a buy and hold for 2014. I'm in at $4.30 and plan to hold them for a time.
