I am nervously excited. Looks overbought but definitely being Accumulated. Maybe the low cost Nat Gas price correlation is finally being realized?
Volatile but in the right direction for the time being!

Really popped in the past 2 days since earnings renewed confidence.
I am not a pig and just sold the load of shares I bought <100 in December (and will collect the last dividend)!
Still holding my original position and overall up big on TNH.

TNH is a machine...I enjoyed the dividend while it was sleeping. Anyone care to calculate the total return of just the dividends since I bought this?=============================

Mr.Market, Since purchasing TNH on 4/20/12 you have received 12 dividend payments totaling 39.18 per share. Had you reinvested this $$ into more shares from each dividend I don't know what the compounded return would be. Here are the 12 payments from each quarter held : 4.00, 4.21, 4.12, 3.63, 4.68, 4.02, 2.02, 2.10, 3.01, 3.11, 1.78, 2.50.

I've been considering TNH the past few weeks, since it's a beaten down mrmarket stock. After I researched into the agricultural chemicals space, I decided to go with POT and MOS today. I bought about 1/3 of the position I'd normally want to own. They are in a downturn with their stock prices and their earnings trends heading lower. It looks like an okay time to start a position although there is a risk of their 4-5% dividends being cut. I expect to finish buying the other 2/3 by February. That should be enough time to see if the business steadies or if they need to start raising debt, cutting the dividend etc. POT is around 17 ($14.3 billion market cap) and MOS about 26.75 ($9.4 billion market cap) vs TNH at like 112 ($2 billion market cap. The stock prices are all down about 50% from where mrmarket first liked TNH(not including dividends) in 2012. I think mrmarket still likes TNH (although it's been a naughty boy) since he hasn't sold it yet. These stocks put in a significant bottom in Jan-Feb. I'm watching and waiting to see if that bottom stays a bottom the next 6 months.
