Stock Contest under $10 to $15 stocks

We're overdue for a contest. This is a variation of one I ran a few years ago. It's tougher than you'd think.

Rules: Pick up to 3 different stocks that open under $10/ share on Nov. 11th. The winner is the person whose stock first cracks the $15 mark on or before Feb 10th, 3 months later.

Reverse splits don't count. First person to post pick gets the stock. If your pick tops $10 before Nov.10th, pick another before open Nov.10th. You can change your pick before the contest opens and another can get your 1st pick.

There will be prizes to be announced later.

Any dividend payments will not be added to stock price.

How about senior members vs. junior members. It would be nice if IIC, Mr.Market, Peanuts, Karel, and some of the other old timers try their skills.

I might just be the 1st to post my picks. Hurry up, start researching!

Just pointing out PVA, WG, and BEAT were on a list of 12 and also eventually on a list of 6 I initially narrowed down to while screening for this contest. Makes sense because the criteria is specific, and the timeframe is only 3 months. Everyone is looking for a stock close to $10, ideally $9.99 with potential for a huge change in investor perception very soon. The stock not only has to go up at minimum 50%, but also above $15 a share. Easier from 10 to 15 than 5 to 15, and rules out any true penny stocks that can move very quickly.
