I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Here are my 5 favorite stocks from the most recent data dump...one of these will be my first purchase of 2014:
ANIK ATRO JAZZ SFUN VRTU
Which one do you like? and why??
JAZZ - I once saw JAZZ stock price at 7, next time I look at it it was 32.. After a while, I returned and the price was 99.. Oh my! what happen? How? While I was occupied by regret JAZZ price raised to 122.. Finally, I brought JAZZ at 122.. Besides all the misses, JAZZ sales and earnings growth are super - "easy" 15% fellas.
I too have been watching JAZZ go up 500% while sitting on the sidelines, but their recent acquisition of GENT drugs which are currently licensed in the EU do show a continued growth path that is far from finished.
If it wasn't for the 12/31 timing I would jump into ATRO and JAZZ today (as I am already in ANIK), but the historic January volatility is going to keep me in a higher cash position where I will sit tight for the time being while I have these in my sights.
Happy New Year and I am looking forward to making money with you all in 2014;
-Adam
As with last pick I'll go with JAZZ among these fine five stocks, and I'll give another plug for PFHO which I have been pounding the table for since the teens
