Time 29 minutes! Germany 5 Brazil 0 !!! Karel, if it comes down to Netherlands v. Germany, please know that my pure German heart is where it must be (from the 1830's) , but I have been cheering for Netherlands all along, until now. No bets to be wagered here because I got totally stiffed on the winning bet 4 years ago, and he ain't been seen here since. And all I got was "the check is in the mail".

And Ernie, futbol ain't more illogical than hockey! Or wrestling, when it comes right down to it! (IMHO that is).

I have German roots too but I am rooting for Karel's home country - but they need to win one more to get to the finals.

People should root where their heart is, no problem there. The game is a bit late
and I am not a great fan. I might be asleep when the game ends. (And wake up
again if it it was a win for "our" team.)

And I have no problem with football being illogical. It just means Vulcan will not
participate in the Federation championship.
