For some reason I started thinking of this song today. It contains many memorable quotes. I found a coin from 1932 that went on a scale my grandfather used to sell vegetables in 1932. His income that year was $20 and he was widowed with 5 children ages 11 to 21.

Very nice. I was surprised at how up tempo they did it.

A sad sad song. Up tempo or not.

"Every time I go to a new country, I buy a SIM card and activate the Internet and download the map to locate myself. I would never have been able to arrive at my destination without my smartphone."

This is not me. It is Jeb Bush.

                QUOTATION OF THE DAY

"Look, this guy's the front-runner. He should be treated like a front-runner, not like some kind of alternative universe to the political system."

"Is it a miracle when LeBron James scores 37 points? Not really, he is the best basketball player. The guy scores more than anybody. Each shot is unique, but over time, some teams win and they score and that's like performance fees for us."

                  - Stephen A. Schwarzman, Blackstone's chief executive, on the durability of the company's stock price.

                    Classic QotD:

"This company is in shambles, and I don’t have time to wet-nurse the board. So I need all of you to resign."

-Steve Jobs to the Apple board of directors, 1997

"Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."

Think it's an old Irish saying.

If the market didn't drive you to drink this weekend, then this should do it.

Leave it to the people at Dartmouth to study beer. (AH-ha ha. Oops, sorry.)
