“Nobody goes there anymore,” he said of a popular restaurant. “It’s too crowded.” (My favorite by far).

Lot of VW owners wish they could say the same.

                  QUOTATION OF THE DAY

"In big cities, beneath the roar of traffic, beneath the rapid pace of change, so many faces pass by unnoticed because they have no 'right' to be there, no right to be part of the city."

POPE FRANCIS, in a Mass before 20,000 at Madison Square Garden, reminding New Yorkers to watch for a glimpse of the presence of God among the poorest of the poor.

                    jiesen,

Perhaps it is time to start a new thread of words (and their definition) created by the many serendipitous and talented members of this site. For Example: Farfromtruthen - referring to Yogi Berra's humorous quotes. A word created at the same time that Volkswagen was caught cheating thus it has German characteristics.

Hishugeness and Hugeone - Synonyms for MrMarket

Yeah, that's a good idea. We'd have to include some Louettaisms, like 'methinks' as well!

Louettaisms - The user name plus "isms" . Refers to words a particular user "uses" when posting that are not commonly employed. These words ARE in the dictionary. Example: Methinks

I like these but I see potential problems with Hugeone similar to when the Harry Potter books first came out some thought Hermione was pronounced her-me-own.

A quick change in "capitalization" fixes that I think - HugeOne

Reminds me of when I starred in "See How They Run" in high school, and thought my character's name was "Penne-lope". And then there was "Gene ValGene". How they corrected my pronounciation from "jist" to "just" and "harassed" to less emphasis on the rear portion. Lessons well learned along with the pet peeve's gnashing of teeth I still suffer from today every time they are pronounced incorrectly by those who should know better! (P.S. I adore "MrMarket is Huggy" and the "HuggyOne". Be careful what you wish for. LOL).
